      This code doesn't work anymore

      • Oh, I used it at Zing on Sunday night, so I assumed it was still a goer! Sorry!

  • 400 would be pretty (profanity) great, but that extra 50 would probably make me say to way for the X as well.

In the (quite likely, unfortunately) event that the X versions of most games don't end up looking much better, this could be a pretty good deal though. If only Captain Foresight was around to tell me how the X goes.

    • I think the Pro is a good comparison. It may take a while, and more than likely it'll be next generation that'll make an appreciable difference imo.

Though if you are buying your first it's probably a no brainer, just go the better.

      • I got a Pro a couple months back when my launch model shit itself (long story, don't honestly blame the console for it) and I got a good trade deal.

The Pro does up the frame rate on a few games like inFamous and Knack (yes, I played Knack in 2017) or make them look a little prettier, but for the most part it's not worth it, at least not yet.

If the X offers a similar comparison in terms of actual upgrades to the S, it ain't gonna be worth the upgrade.

For the record, I hope every single game ever takes full advantage of the X and looks amazing, E3 2013 had me swearing off Xbox entirely, and they managed to get me to jump back in after THAT, so I wouldn't write it off myself just yet.
