Any Good Earphones around $100

Hi guys, apologies as I know this question can get annoying,

Basically I bought some sennheiser mx460 years ago, and they lasted me ages for the price I paid, until today. One earbud is gone and the other is going. I do have a back up pair of Sennheiser ones but this one feels super cheap, don't think it even has a proper model name and cable feels like one of those $2 ones.

Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding some that will last me a few years. Problem is I hate the "in ear" headphones, I only use the normal ones if that makes sense, (For example I was looking at the Philips SHE4205BK or the apple headphones though I have an Android phone).

I don't want over the ear ones or anything as I prefer only having one bud in so I can still hear whats happening around me on my way to work and stuff.

Happy to pay more then $100 and doesn't need to be a bargain per se (is that blasphemy to say here? :p), just something that will last a while.

Thanks!

Also heres some random steam keys (humble trash) for apologies for another headphone question (plz only take 1)
Symbols are japanese numbers, can put it in google translate to get the actual number
or its phonetic (arr = R) just trying to get around the bots.

Apple's EarPods are alright if you like how they sound and if they fit in your ear. The chances are someone around you have one, try them out and see whether you like them. You can get silicon sleeve with it if you don't like fit so much.

Other than that, other open earphone that comes to my mind is VE MONK Plus (from Aliexpress). They are flimsy but they sound nice, costs around $10~$15. They were well received if I remember correctly.

One way to help with cables breaking, which is very common, is using shrink tubes on the areas that bends a lot. Some people even reinforce the tube using springs from ballpoint pens. That said, since doing it may make other parts of cable to bend a lot, I'd do it few months in or something. My 2c.

The xiaomi earphones are great and relatively cheap. You get more than your money's worth with the sound stage.

I recommend Shure 215 earphones. Will last because they are detachable both the cord and the earphones. If the earphone breaks they will send you a replacement for two years

  • Sennheiser Momentum are great. Even the CX series for less money
