      thanks, yeah I was using IFTTT for my Yeelight bulb, but it's now native to g.home (it works much quicker). I think the strip can too , if it's controllable via Mi Home/Yeelight app. anyway there's only one way to find out~

        Well, arrived this afternoon and it is up and running via Home. Wasn't working initially but then I found out that you need to select 'Singapore' (not mainland china) from the Yeelight app. Then tried again and all good. Can dim, brighten, change colours etc.

        The strip itself seems to be of pretty high quality and is quite bright. It doesn't have a separate white LED but does a good rendition of white. Supports commands (http://forum.yeelight.com/t/yeelight-work-with-google-home/1…) like 'hey google - turn strip light to warm white' etc. Only possible issue is the power wart is narrow but quite tall - meaning it will fit between plugs on a power board (good) but when using the included us to au adapter it sticks out so much the weight might cause it to fall out of the socket (not so good). Will see how it goes.

    Could be good for my camper trailer then, could choose yellow to avoid the bugs when necessary but not have to put up with the yellow lighting when not needed.
