Not sure if I was unlucky, but I got this in Australia, doesn't seem Apple will do anything about it if it is faulty, as they told me to go back to the original buyer. Just a word of advise if purchase elsewhere other than Apple Store, keep the receipt!

I think Apple should be allowed to turn you away if you purchased elsewhere and don't have a receipt as proof of purchase.

There should be no limits to repair or service. Yes, you can take it right into the Apple Retail Store in Australia if you have any issues.

Wow you are really on the anti Apple brigade aren't you! I use Apple but that doesn't mean I hate Samsung. I am genuinely curious to know how Apple has wronged you so badly to create such strong feelings? Or are you just an unstable angry person in general?
@pantsparty: I never understood people like that, I'm a Apple fanboy for phones yet I've never had any hard feelings about any other phone maker or even clicked on articles/deals like this to spam hate lol I don't get it. I own a Apple Mobile, Samsung AC, Microsoft console, Nintendo handheld, it's almost as if you're allowed to buy different products and not have to stick with one company :D I like coke and pepsi omg is that even possible.
I've never used these- but I do like a bass oriented headphones. How is the bass reproduction in these? I normally use in-ear style buds.
I have these and they sound basically the same as the normal apple Earpods. They may have slightly better bass but the difference is not really dicernable. If you like really bassy headphones these are probably not the best choice.
Also keep in mind these (like the apple earpods) also don’t isolate sound that well. For me that’s useful as it allows me to hear cars etc. when I’m outside.
I have a pair and can tell you if you want bass-oriented headphones, Airpods are not what you are looking for.
Great pair of little headphones. So comfortable sometimes I forget I’m wearing them. Very easy to play/pause and skip music. Very easy to store and charge, case is smaller than they appear in the pictures. Easily get 1-2 weeks of playback on a single charge + charging in the case.
Sounds quality is good, but it’s for casual listening, possibly when you’re on the bus or walking around town. I use them at the gym now and they are very good for that.
Bonus tip: if you’re going to run in them they should be fine, but if you’re paranoid you can pick up a pair of rubber tips on Aliexpress just for extra security when you’re running. There’s no need for a third party strap if you have those.

Depends on your preference:
Total wireless design: AirPods
Wires but bigger battery life: Jaybird X3Jaybirds have a more secure fit so better sound isolation which is plus or a minus to some people who want to hear ambient noise.
But IMO really comes down to whether you want wires or not.

All Apple announced at their September event was that an optional wireless charging case will be available to buy later on.It is a wireless charging case that has a battery indicator on the front, I would imagine newest AirPods get shipped with this new case. This making them v2.
If an optional separate purchase add-on case is considered v2 then sure.

No. People pay a premium for Airpods more for its wireless convenience and iOS device integration. Do not buy theee just for the main purpose of pairing with Android devices.
Why are these so popular, ok let's face it they're 10times better than beats, Sony, Sennheiser, bose etc.
