Gimbals and Bose QC35s are the new Eneloop's

    • +1

      And Xiaomi powerbank

    • You only need to buy one gimbal (or maybe two for both of your hands), but you shall get a dozen or more Eneloops in your life.

Don't think about it, just buy it. Fantastic value for money.

  • Is Smooth 3 better than Smooth Q? They are offloading a lot of old stock.

  • Anyone got tips on how to hack this to work with a point and shoot camera?

    • From what I have read you need to balance the weight out so the camera stays upright. This is done by adding more weight to the back of the camera. If anyone has actually done it I would love to hear how well it works.

      • Purchased the gimbal, once it comes in I'll probably make a trip out to Bunning's and try and sort it out.

        • Don't forget a trip to the type shop or wreckers for some free lead weight to counter-balance the camera lens weight.

        • @malouphix: Any suggestions on where to get lead weights? Doesn't necessarily need to be free. Something preferably black to blend in well with the camera+gimbal.

Don't forget that especially with cheaper gimbals they have quite small weight limits, heavier cameras may be too heavy for their motors to handle

  • Do you need to use the app for the stick to record? Or is it all automated and you can use whatever recording app you want?

    • You can use any camera app, but if you do use the ZY Play app then you can make use of the physical buttons to use as shortcuts for record/take photo/zoom etc.

One thing I love about the ZY Play app is the motion timelapse.

  • does it connect to phone via the connector at the button of our phone? (when in use)

    • +1

It connects via bluetooth. There is a USB port on the handle which you can use to charge your phone if needed.

    • +1

I've heard people have been having battery issues with these, so would be interested to know how your mileage goes.

    • Got mine from eGlobal within 2 working days so if it's a couple of weeks there might be some issue :P

      • Oh whoops - haha, I didn't read anything. I just assumed a couple weeks!

  • Its more cheaper from apusexpress2 for AU $133.15!

  • Anyone know if this can be rigged to use with a GoPro?

  • Out of stock.

  • They are back in stock, i just bought one
