Edit: the JB HiFi listing is for the EM7000 not 7100

      • Oh right you are. I've totally mistake this ad. My apologies.

        Can't edit my first post

  • Great price - I have this coffee machine and I highly recommend it. Only suggestion is also to ensure you are using a good quality coffee grinder to ensure you get a consistent extraction :)

    • I currently have the EM6900 and EM0480 grinder. While the coffee shot is decent, I am thinking of upgrading the grinder. Do you have any suggestions for a decent grinder to pair the EM6900 with? A lot of members here say good things about the Breville smart grinder.

      • Sorry for the late reply - we have the EM0480 grinder and It think it's pretty good for what we need. I'm not super serious about coffee but I tend to be pretty picky about the beans… I have it set to about 12 on the EM0480 grinder and always pull a double shot with a pretty full portafilter and it always seems to get a great extraction and hits the green zone.

Fair enough. Thanks for your reply. I only started making coffee about 12 or so months ago, and have just progressed by watching videos off youtube etc. Will probably look at getting a barista course done, but for now it looks like I will stick with the 0480. Have a good day :)
