For the bookings I've made they charge you extra for the privilege.
I can't get past the 2nd screen where it asks you for your QFF number or continue as guest.

I just tried a sample query - the Qantas one has by default - 'entire home' filter set. removing them - the prices are exactly the same - as they should be.

The price changes on each page as you get closer.
When I was booking multiple Japan accommodations earlier this year,
side by side on two computers one with QFF, one without.
There was consistently about $3 difference on the final page. (Roughly $300, $600, $4000 buys)

Testing this out and it does not seem to be more expensive - if anything somehow QF seems to be $3 cheaper for several airbnb places.
But there could be some dynamic pricing at works as the prices do not match the search page (the checkout prices was cheaper than the search page for some reason)

Some people may find a referral bonus within air bnb more effective. Eg. I joined for the first booking. Referred my wife for the next booking, who then referred our son…. etc.
