Its that time of year again…
NBA League Pass is open again for 2017-2018!

You can sign up locally for a pretty un-ozbargain $299, or you can sign up via a VPN to Brazil for ~$112.34

Regarding purchasing from India:

Have seen another forum site where people have signed up via India. Requires a VPN to be on whenever using the service though. Still no joy for me with the India League Pass sub via PayPal payment. No sub showing in League Pass account. Reckon something wrong there. Credit card seems the best payment method if other sites are anything to go by.

    After looking through the nba LP page and my account, I couldnt see any option to cancel. Woke up today to see Ive been charged $140 via paypal and that its gone through. I wasnt buying it this year for various reasons so was rather stunned. Paypal tells me to email the vendor to ask for a refund. Ive sine learnt that paypal has a subscriptions page where you manage these things manually. Am in a mad panic as I had a coles delivery scheduled for tomorrow that I now cant pay.

    *Edit. Rang bank to try to block the transaction. Was told as I 'approved' the payment last year that its bad luck and have to contact the merchant to request a refund. Sent that email off so i'll see how it goes. Won on the coles front too as you can schedule deliveries for well in advance. Looks like im havin baked beans and scraps till then lol.

      from past experiences they are good at refunding your money, although it may take a couple of days

        Yes - just email them. They will cancel your account and refund you - usually within 24-48 hours.

    According to Whirlpool, if you have Getflix and set Channel C to India, it will enable the India subscription to work without the VPN on.

    My question is, what is the likelihood of purchasing this and it being cancelled? In the terms and conditions it states:

      All I know is I bought using a VPN through canada last year and it worked sweet. If you want to dip your toe in the water maybe buy the team only package at like 20 or so bucks.

    If you paid through PayPal, don't forget to go to your account and cancel the pre-approved payment (to be used for auto-renewal next year). You can find this under Settings (cogs icon) -> Payments -> Manage pre-approved.

      Only thing is I don't think I can watch the preseason games with the 2017/18 season package.

      Works fine for me, I carried over from a subscription last season so had to re-enter my login since they recently changed it from username to email address.

      Are you putting in your email address as the login ID?

      yea me and my friend done it last season. it used to tell to log in again sometimes when 2 or 3 devices were being used at the same time, but a lot of the time you could just press cancel and keep watching the games live

    For the lameon, can someone please explain to me how to get leaguepass like you are all suggesting?

    Where do I go, what websites do i need to get the VPN etc etc. Step by step would be handy.
    I usually get the standard $300 but I just cant afford that anymore, and not overly computer savy….

    Just so your aware, I have a laptop to use.

    I did it last night

    used nordvpn 3 day trial. installed and selected mexico

    used a clean browser that had no trace of nba.com in the history / cache (i downloaded and installed opera but you could just clean your hstory /cache of whatever you use)

    Go to watch.nba.com and signup - it should be showing prices in mexican pesos if youve done the vpn right.

    use the code PRESEASON10 - it got me about $10 off.

    in the end i think it was 1349 pesos (about 91 AUD)

    I havent been billed yet because theres a 5 day trial period or something but it seems to be working fine.

    Hey guys, first time commentor here.
    I've done all the steps to get the discounted league pass via MEXICO. Went on to my NBA app and tried playing a stashed video from today and it says it can't play at my location as it is blacked out. What do I do to fix this or have I missed a step?
