      The T & C in the good guys website that you agreed to allows them to disallow incorrect prices, so what they did is legal, 100%

      Their T&C’s, along with every retailers, have safeguards against pure price errors, you signed up to it when you bought the item. So yes, it’s legal.

      You are quite entitled to sue them if you wish. It will cost you tens of thousands of dollars for lawyers and you may well lose.

      I would think that they would argue that until the goods are in your hands the transaction isn't complete.

        Issues like this go through small claims tribunal. I don't know about other states, but in QLD the fee is about $25.

        Most likely The Good Guys would not even bother to send a representative. It'll be cheaper for them to just send you the speaker and cover your lodgement fee.

    Placed my order as a guest about 1/2hr after deal was posted. Received store allocation email about 2hrs ago, after people had received cancellation emails. That was last correspondence. Am I any chance?

    Did anyone pay through paypal, and then afterwards once Paypal have taken your money, the Good Guys site came up with an error? I've yet to receive any receipt or confirmation/cancellation email.

    Phoned The God Guys today after hearing nothing since my allocation email.

    The rep advised that the order had been canceled on the 5th October and a refund had been processed. No mention of a $10 voucher.

    Checked out as a guest FYI.
