    • +3

Even without the sale its still $100 cheaper than you paid at JB

      • Mmm, when I looked saturday it wasnt. JB has it at $1600, havey had it tagged at 1500, and online at 1400.
Knew I should have waited for a 20% off sale.

      • +1

Hardly normal with refund 110% off an advertisements price within 30 days

  • -2

Aty least The Good Guys dont seem to raise their prices for these sales.

    • +6

You might want to rephrase that statement.

  • All the premium stoves have been culled, the prices jacked up

Woohoo was debating using my $10 voucher for a $60 power bank I was after or waiting to see if they had a 20% off ebay sale because they do it so often. Gonna save an extra $2 + cash rewards!

  • Gonna buy me a fridge ;)

    • +13

No cool wet sack for this guy anymore!

    • Second this.. any good deal for the fridge folks? Preferably 272L - 450L

      • +4

Please stand by while I check.

In the mean time, how about you take advantage of a free shoe shine?

  • Does anyone know if TGG will price match at their own stores ?

    • Dont think so.

    • no, according to TGG Hoppers Crossing VIC store staff last time I checked

    • No, they dont.

    • If you mean you want to pick one up today: their click and collect options are the retail stores.

If you're looking for them to drop below these prices: no.

    • eBay/PayPal subsidises the cost.

In other words, Bing Lee and TGG don't do this out of their own pocket. They aren't that nice lol.

  • +3

No Chromecasts in the eBay store :(

  • Bugger… no Galaxy Tab S3

  • I am moving out of home next year, so will be looking to purchase a fair amount of whitegoods.

Problem is that I have no storage for say a washing machine, is it possible to buy now while they hold the stock for you? Seems like a long shot, but is there any way around this?

    • Can't you store them in your folks or relatives place/garage or something?

    • Washing machine makes a mighty fine coffee table turned on it's side with a towel draped over it. Just get creative with your "storage".

    • I wish I could, garage has so much crap in there I am hesitant to store anything in there. Oh well, hopefully there's more sales around next year March.

Coffee table with a side swinging door for additional storage lol.

      • +2

Good guys have 20% off ebay sales fairly frequently so I wouldn't stress. Also JB are fairly competitive for white goods /appliances. I am also looking at moving out before the end of the year and have been storing smaller house stuff I've been grabbing on sale.

    • do you rekon any deal on washing machines? I am in the same situation and moving out next month.

    • +1

Will only hold ebay stock for 1-2 weeks as its part of ebay's terms of service.

    • Wait for Boxing day sales.

  • Could be worth combining with the Samsung Cash Back on TVs offer. The T&C's don't exclude ebay like previous offers.

    • +1

Also I believe TGG invoices do not reference eBay so you can get cashback regardless (don't hold me to this)

      • It doesn't the orders are fulfilled by whichever closest store with stock. WIll be as good as purchased from the shop.

  • I'm gonna pull 20 for the good guys tomorrow. These voucher names are getting ridiculous.

  • Is Fitbit watches excluded? I want to get the new ionic and hopefully it's included 🤔😉

    • +1

I too was looking at the Ionic but there doesn't appear to be an eBay listing so we are out of luck :/

      • Nooo :(

        • +1

What colour did you want? You could message this seller and get them to list it under Sporting Goods so you can take advantage of the PEDAL coupon to get it for $364.

        • @doweyy:

Black and I'll try haha cheers!

        • +1

          @HereYeeHereYee:

Guess you could always swap it out afterwards, I reckon they'll definitely oblige :)

Get them to list it under: Sporting Goods>Fitness, Running & Yoga>Fitness Technology>Activity Trackers

    • -3

      Is Fitbit watches excluded?

OMG trying so hard not to go full out grammar nazi right now

Looking to buy a Samsung fridge, would I still be eligible for the cash back offer if I bought 1 off eBay?

    • No. T&C's.

"Participating Retail Store" means any Australian retailer authorised by Samsung to participate in this Promotion, and excludes any online bidding or auction websites (including www.ebay.com.au) or any unauthorised retailers. The Promoter recommends that prior to purchasing a Participating Product, the customer verify with the retailer that the retailer is authorised by Samsung to participate in this Promotion

But you could still try because the invoice may not mention eBay.

      • +1

        Yes, you are still eligible.

I bought a Samsung washing machine with cashback a few months back. Had exact same conditions. I called the samsung promotion people to double check as the conditions are a bit ambiguous, ie since I'm buying from an approved retailer, does it really matter if I buy through ebay or not? It's a fixed price and it's not like it's an ACTUAL auction, which I think they are referring too.

They said it was perfectly fine to buy from good guys or appliances online ebay store. So I bought through ebay and the cashback just hit my account the other week, no problem. Call to double check if you are concerned, but I don't think they can even tell if you bought from ebay or not.

  • Weber Q2000 is currently $399. With 20% off comes down to 319ish

    • Not sure if tomorrow it's still 399 or 439 (RRP)

  • Looking to buy a laptop (not for gaming / mostly personal/office use)… any recommendation/deals?

I found previous post about lenovo around $700+ which already finished. I hope they birng it back or have almost same offer.

Consider waiting for Windows on ARM, starting in December.

      The Snapdragon 845 + Windows 10 is a game-changer, but that won't be until Q2 2018.

    • +1

The Acer Spin 5 for $675 (Bing Lee eBay deal) was an awesome deal I'm so peeved (word substituted) that I missed out on it..
Seems to have quite decent specs, pity it is going to be $800 in this deal.

Also looking for something that is around 13-14 inches, i3/i5/i7 and long battery life. Budget = around $700-$750. actually forget this, something magical isn't going to appear on TGG eBay store just because I want it to. Nothing on there is really doing it ATM.

  • Can you buy to lock in price and pay later so you can use coupon when code is active?

  • Was hoping for this in about 2 weeks time to get some Google Home Mini's. Sure it will come up again.

Now that 65" LG C7 is calling my name.

  • I came here to read some nice price jacking comments but there are hardly any, I'm disappointed :(

    • +1

There's no price jacking because it has not started yet. No 'deals' so far but nearly 200+ votes

    • Wait till tomorrow.

  • What's a good, cheap and reliable 55" 4k tv to get?

    • Keep your eye on the 55" Sony X9000e, currently advertised at $2195 on TGG ebay store.
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sony-KD55X9000E-55-139cm-UHD-…
20% off would bring it down to around $1756 if there is no price jacking. Amazing price for an amazing TV.

      • +1

Is that really a good price? I bought this TV 11 days ago for $1,559.20 from Bing Lee using an ebay code.

        • really? wow I must've missed that. Great price.

        • @datbargain: their price was $1,949.00 then a code, pity no delivery was available.

      • +1

Lots of people on forums are very unhappy with the AndroidTV OS though.

    • I'm after a Sony 8500 but doesn't look like they have it.

Be wary of the prices as a few are cheaper at jb, even with the discount.

    • +1

      Good, cheap, reliable

You've just asked for basically 3 subjective opinions.

  • I've looked -some good prices with code maybe but I'm not seeing bargains….

  • +3

Deal has not even started let alone for price jacking to occur, not a single bargain to be had (yet)= 200+ up votes

My God, what's happening to my fav site :(

  • Bugger, they don't have the Sony 8500 55inch tv I'm after.

  • Anyone know if I can buy on ebay and pick up immediately from the store? Or does it take a few days to process? (Heading overseas on Wednesday)

    • Usually takes few hours.

  • any bluetooth speakers? ue megaboom or something like that.couldnt find.

    • Megaboom will be $207 if they don't jack.

      • thnx..but couldnt find the link on their ebay store

        • Use this link to search their store, searching otherwise seems to have issues.

  • +1

Something is quite not right with this site right now - https://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/thegoodguys Cant see most stuffs.. !! "Price Jacking" in progress?

    • well, we about to get hiJACKED!

    • Just type in their search box.

  • C7 LG or Q7 Samsung…. What do people think is better?

    • +3

C7 OLED is better than the Q7, not even the Q9 Samsung can touch the C7.

      http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews

      • +1

Yeah OLED basically destroys LCD for PQ. Better blacks, colours, motion. Only downside is temporary IR which can be alleviated within about 8-10 mins depending on content but some LCD can have some limited IR issues too.

  • Bugger no hard drives
