    • Can anybody confirm this please? I'm planning on shopping for the target amount today.

      • It won't include gift cards regardless of what you buy with it.

        • Damn… Thanks Scab!

  • +1

My spend is $145 a week - time to stock up the pantry.

  • Strange! where do you see this offer? I have just purchased $50+ worth of groceries from woolworths online for the first time with pickup option. The account was created few months ago but no purchased was made.

Anyway, after the purchase no offer was made.
What is the requirement to get this offer? Do I need to spend full 200$ to see this offer?

    • No, you had to register for it via email invitation.

  • +1

For those with a high required spend like me ($145), I can confirm this deal combines with the "spend $150 get 3000 Everyday Reward Points" deal:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/336685

So do a shop this weekend, and then another between Monday and Friday next week, and that will give you a bonus 6000 points (worth $30).

    • This guy shops.

      • +1

Lol yeah - I was surprised myself how easy it was to spend $150.

I went along this morning with the missus, and after buying some nappies and multivitamins, I'd already spent nearly $100!

Will easily spend the $600 over the four weeks, especially with xmas only 9 weeks away.

So is Google Mini going to send your private home conversations back to the Google mothership, to help you shop better?

  • Bought 5 boxes of $9.50 favourites tonight, claimed 5 movie tickets. Will be doing the same this week and hopefully they are on sale again the following before the 31st October. 15 movie tickets, 15 boxes of chocolates and 3 out of the 4 weeks covered for google home mini. Only 5 tickets per person for the movie claim, but I successfully claimed 5 tickets with 1 receipt.

    • That sounds like a great idea, I'm going to try it out myself today.

      • I tried Netflix vouchers and chucked a chocolate bar in there trying to trick the system first. It did not work, but I was going to be paying $70 for Netflix over the next 5 months anyway so it was worth a crack.

        • I wanted to just buy wine, but liquor (as well as gift cards) are excluded from this promotion in the T&C.

        • @FatBoyNotSoSlim: Tickets have 31st May expiry too!

        • @johnno1987: I checked two stores last night, neither had the marked packs in stock. Not sure I can be bothered checking more of them tonight.

  • Has anyone signed up for this Today and received the offer ?

  • +1

100/Week, 10k points or google mini. half way there, 200 spent. Cmon mini

  • Can you combine the Google Home offer with others? I got an offer today for 2000 bonus points when spending $50 online and collecting in store. Also noticed a $10 off $50 coupon floating around. Never ordered online before, anyone know if it is possible to stack all 3 offers?

    • Same here just got an email saying starting tomorrow spend $50 for two weeks to get Bonus points

      Should I risk activating it?
I really do want the Google mini

      • I have already spent $120 this week and last week(my offer was $120x4 weeks for a google home mini or 11000points) and today i got another email saying spend $130x2 weeks for a google home mini or 6000 points. Very confusing….

        • I'd be a bit worried in case the original offer wasn't activated if I was you:(

        • @hellohello123: Original offer successfully acivated, I get a confirmation on the receipt after spending a total of $120 every week and an email confirmation with the current week “shop now” and the previous weeks “ticked”

        • @GregFiona: Activate the new offer, spend $130 (instead of $120) for the next 2 weeks & you should receive the benefits of both offers. :)

        • @headphonejack: That was my plan, I activated the offer this morning as soon as I got the email, let’s see how it goes, thanks

      • +2

I got the same email, the offers should stack. Last week I had an offer to spend $100 for bonus points, which successfully stacked with the Google Home Mini promo.

      • +1

I got a second offer too, which requires an additional $10 spend per week for the next 2 weeks

I just clicked on it, and it says "Thank you for activating your offer".

Then if I click on it again now, it says "your offer has already been activated. Thanks!"

Will spend the extra $10 for the next 2 weeks and see what happens :)

        • +1

It works! The offers do stack up.I spent $103 today and the docket says "4 week gift promotion"…just spend $17 by this Sunday and after that it says "2 week bonus gift promotion" spend $27 by this Sunday…!

  • +1

I got the offer again, this time spend less due two weeks only.

That means two Google minis right?

    • I got the same. Would like to know too.

  • Top up opal card count or not ?

  • Damn I just got a bonus points offer wish it was another mini!

  • just spoke to woolies chat, and they said

“but the google home mini offer can not be used in conjunction to any other offer.”
“So if you would like to redeem both offer you need to make 2 separate spending”

    • +1

they shouldn’t be allowing both orders to be activated at the same time if that’s the case. How will they lnow which offer I want to redeem
if I spend let’s say $130 only in one week?

    • +1

There is a member here who has activated both and got both triggered on their recipet. The uploaded a pic too

    • +2

Offers can be stacked. See my comment here

  • I just got the offer for the first time. $140 spend over 2 weeks for google mini or 6500 points.

  • This is seriously confusing.
I got original offer spend over $90 in as many shops as you like for a Mini
Today I got spend $100 for 2 weeks in as many shops as you like for a Mini.
So I need to spend $190 a week for the next 2 weeks to get 2 Google Home Mini's

    For OH it's more complicated
Original offer spend $80 in a single shop, opted in for a Mini
New offer spend $80 in as many shops as you like but no Google Home Mini offer, it's 4500 points. Was about to click Activate but if I don't spend $160 I don't want to mess up the Google Home Mini offer because it's more important then 4500 points. I'm unlikely to spend $350 ($190 + $160) in a week

    • +1

As previously mentioned, you can stack the offers, so go ahead & activate the new offer, spend your $80 or in one shop & you'll qualify for both offers.
Edit: If your second offer is for more than the original spend, (ie. $100 in multiple shops as you first mentioned) then you can spend the excess $$$ separately & still qualify.

  • +2

A couple of us have done the third week shop, and docket is showing both the 4 week and 2 week Mini promos:

    https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2658778&…

    • Same here.
Did my shop yesterday and my Docket had both activated

  • +2

Finally got my offer - aarrghhhh - spend $300 online in one transaction to redeem a google home mini.
Have never ever spent this amount of money so cant understand why I would get such a crazy offer !

    • +1

      Same! Argh!

    • I've received the same offer but am already doing the $80 each of 4 weeks offer. Can I get 2 Google home minis if I do this offer?

Also if you're struggling to get to $300 just get some groceries for a friend or family (and get them to pay you back of course!)

  • Now I'm a bit worried

I did my week 3 spend on 30th oct
I also activated a spend $50 for 2 weeks offer as well

On the recipet it says you have activated both offers

Just then I get an email saying
"youre almost there at your Google mini. Make sure you shop week 3 if you haven't"
With week 3 and 4 greyed out

I hope I don't have to call up and argue with them

    • +1

They send that out on Thursday's. Had the same thing last week, it says "if you haven't" because I don't think they do it live, must take them a while to update.

    • I dont get any emails about the week to week :( and I have done online order with pickups.

  • I got the $185 offer. Which I thought meant spend $185 over the two week period. But now I think I may have misread it. It says "Spend at least $185 (the qualifying amount) in one or more transactions at any participating Woolworths supermarket during each of the 2 designated weeks". By "each" does it mean "both"? If so this is a far worse deal than I expected :(

    • Yes, you will need to spend $185 in each week for a total of at least $370 to get the bonus points.

  • just did my week 4 shop, and the docket says i receive 6000 points, and my free gift will be shipped to nominated address even though i activated the google mini offer instead of the points.

    • My dockets have almost always had incorrect promotion info. If in doubt it's pretty easy to jump on a live chat with a Woolworths rep online.

  • +2

Just did my final week shop, also had a get 3000 points if I shop 2 weeks,

on the recipet it says completed both offers, and my produt will be sent to the nominated address,
    plus I get bonus points

    couldnt be happier :) :) :) :)

    • I did the same yesterday. 2 google home minis will be sent to my address soon :)

      • haa id be even happier if I had two. But I never got two offers!

    • +1

Well done. I'm pleased to see these getting confirmed but I'm a little jealous because I've been doing Online orders for Pickup and there isn't any messages like this on the receipt.

I'm certain I have made it and qualify as I got the 'You're tantalisingly close to a Google Home Mini' email last week showing my Week 1 and 2 shops ticked however a message on a receipt like your would be nice.

      • +1

I agree with you, they should include our current offers/promotions under our woolworths rewards online account.
On the positive note, I love the apple watch(and iphone)wallet woolworths rewards integration. I don’t need my wallet anymore when visiting woolies!

      • I did click and collect last week and missed the confirmation on my receipt too. Then today did my 4th shop in store and didn’t get confirmation of either this, or the other 1500 promo.

Checked with chat and they confirmed I should qualify but it does worry me clock&collect may have messed things up when others are getting receipt confirmations and I’m not.

        • Does your click and collect shop appear under your account/activity on the woolworthsrewards site?

        • +1

@GregFiona: yeah it appears as normal there so should be okay.

        • @rodb: got my confirmation email that the mini is on its way.

  • Anyone using the spend $300 in one hit offer have any concrete proof that they met the requirements/its on its way?

  • +1

Completed my last shop and according to the receipt have "earned my gift!"

Torn between keeping it or selling it and spending the money on something much further up my mental wishlist. I can only envisage using this to check the time and the weather…..hmm.

    • Same boat here

Ti be honest I got caught up on the gadget and shopping. So I really have no idea what it really does when I don't have a smart TV.
So I'll probably install it and use it a few times and never use it again.
But I didn't pay anything for it. So oh well

      • Feel free to hit me up if you decide to sell it! I've got one coming from the 4 week shop deal but I'm sure I'll want more.

      • I don't have a smart TV either but got one of these for less than $10 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/3386790) so will have fun playing with/automating anything that uses an IR remote control using voice via the Google Home Mini ;-)

  • does xbox live card counted as gift card?

  • i've forgotten my final week shopping :-( been travelling till yesterday night… :-(

    • Where did you go?

      • family came over and we went to Flinders.. and i only realised this morning that i forgotten to do my woolies shopping :-( so no mini for me.. :-(

        • Wish I went to Flinders with you.

    • Bad luck

    • +1

If you can, get somebody else's receipt with the required spend amount (make sure they didnt swipe their rewards card. Call up Woolies and say that you forgot to swipe your rewards card and would like to register the spend by giving them the receipt details and tell them you would like them to confirm that completed the 4th week shop. I did the same once for a flybuys target shop but used my own legit receipt :)

  • Has anyone received the google mini's?

    • yeah, someone please confirm if they received their, I done my shop two days ago and need to go overseas in less than 2 weeks time so hopping it is arrive before then..

  • +1

According to the T&C, "Your Google Home Mini will be sent to your nominated delivery address by 24/11/17."…

  • Anyone had a dispatch notice for the mini?

    • Anyone get an email saying they qualified?

I made all the spends but haven't received an email or anything to confirm I have qualified let alone a dispatch notice.

    • I just got a confirmation email - CONGRATULATIONS! Your Google Home Mini is on the way

  • +1

    GOOGLE HOME MINI
You have chosen the Google Home Mini as your preferred reward option. You must provide a delivery address by filling out the online form. Your Google Home Mini will be sent to your nominated delivery address by 24/11/17. We are unable to deliver your Google Home Mini to a PO Box.

Where is this online form we are meant to fill out ?

    • +1

When you selected Google Home Mini over the points, the next screen was where you entered your address.

      • Great, thanks! I don't remember that screen but I'll hang tight!

        • You might want to check the last email Woolworths sent to you, I had a look and it said I haven't provided my details and if I don't provide them I will get defaulted 6000 points. So clicking on the link on that same email allowed me to put in address details.

  • For my final week shop, I made a >$50 online C&C shop but upon store packing they didn't pack any deli items as the were 'out of stock' - even though I was able to buy them when I did the collection. This caused my shop to go below $50 (my required shop value) after the refund for these items. When I bought the out of stock items it would have put me back above $50.

As I bought the items when I did my click and collect, does anyone know if I would be able to still claim eligibility for the Google home mini even though it is two transactions as this was out of my control?

    • +1

Think you should talk to someone from Woolworths mate

  • Just got an email saying my Google Home Mini is on the way! Yay!

    • +1

      same here

      Congratulations Knobhead,
Your Woolworths shop over the past 4 weeks has paid off big time and a brand spanking new Google Home Mini will arrive at your doorstep very soon.
We hope you enjoy your Google Home Mini# and thanks for shopping with Woolworths.

    • Me too. Nice to see those 4 boxes ticked.

    • Just got mine as well, hope they have some kind of tracking notices as well

  • They're saying I'm $2.32 short in the first week. BAH! I'm sure there's another receipt somewhere :(

    • I’m not sure about your offer, but my $50 spend had to be done each week in a single transaction.

      • Mine was $100 x 2 weeks (multiple transactions allowed).
I am certain there was another shop in the first week but typically I can't find the receipt so no proof.
I was well over for the 2nd week.

        • Have you logged into your Woolworths Rewards account online to see what transactions are registered to your account or you’ve done that and have found you’re short?

        • @carlenet: Haven't logged in, it's what they told me.

  • +2

Got 2 x email confirmations - one for the 4 week shop, and one for the 2 week shop - so two Minis on the way?
