What Bargains Are You Looking Forward to for Christmas?

Hello OzBargainers,

It is that time of the year where summer is here, holidays are here, Christmas is also here and happiness is all around.

It is also the time where lots of deals, bargains come up and we get confused as to what to go for..

So, what is everyone looking forward to buy this Christmas?

ME - I am looking forward for some great deals on mobile phones.

I would love to pick up an iPhone X but not for that price tag! I usually buy my phones used after Christmas where prices aren't driven through the absolute roof.

Also wouldn't mind a nice deal on some Bose QC35's that I keep seeing and will definitely end up eventually purchasing.

I'm sure as per usual I will end up picking up a bunch of random things that just pop up!

Lego deal as there is one set I'd really like to build but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Hopefully a good price on a PS4 Pro as I'd like to update from the release console as mine has a few issues.

  • Want to buy a phone for my girlfriend in a range of $500-700, so hopefully samsung galaxy s8 will fall into that price range by the end of december.

    • You wish mate.

  • Looking to build my first budget gaming PC and hoping to get all parts inc monitor and Win 10 for less than 1k. ATM prices are around 1.3k.

  • Will be keeping an eye out for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.

  • As a vegetarian… Christmas ham. :)

    • Hey I'm Vegetarian too :)

      • Stir fry broccoli is the bomb am I right and roast potatoes haha lol :)

        • I'm asian so my family knows how to cook vegetarian dishes real well

        • @JayJayAU: Wu Chung Mock Duck or Mock Meat? Seitan and gluten ftw. Family is also asian but not Chinese.. Filipino.

        • @AlienC: Like I don't like the duck, chunky beef and the "vegetarian sea food" because I'm not allergic but I've been a vegetarian ever since I was in my mothers womb and when I was younger if I was eating out and there was a heavy meat smell I would get sick so I'd vomit a lot when I was younger and I can taste the meat without eating it (if that makes sense) but yeah my family & friends make me taste a lot of food and see if theres meat and I've past all of the tests xd

        • @JayJayAU: haha oh wow I've never had that. I mean i don't like some meats as well but I eventually started eating some meat near the end of highschool because whenever I would go out there was sometimes nothing for me to eat so I grew on it.. definitely took me some time though to get used to it and generally tried to get stuff with a lot of veggies anyways stuff with a lot of salads or stir fry veggies.

So then what kind of stuff do you like to eat both individual pieces and menu items? I have always wondered since some places don't serve many good vegetarian options and sometimes even at home it is hard to cook a new meal.

I can only do some soups, stir fry's and microwave and oven meals. Have done some curries and fried potatoes and vegetables in a batter but that's it.

        • @AlienC: Depends where you live

        • @JayJayAU: say inner west Stratford Homebush area but honestly anywhere in Sydney I'm keen

        • @AlienC: I know this beautiful place like outer Sydney and when my parents took me there I was a bit pissed because it took so long but then the food wasn't even that bad, all vegetarian buffet no onion or garlic

        • @JayJayAU: oh nice whereabouts?

        • @AlienC: Ill message you the address when I get back home

  • I wish this deal is back - really need the slow juicer
    Panasonic - MJ-L500SST - Slow Juicer for $98 (RRP $399) @ Bing Lee
