      Multiple is fine.

      • What about multiple on your phone?

        • +2

Multiple phones are fine (or is it phone multiples are fine?)

  • +6
    • Was this scanned using a phone? Pretty good quality if it was.

      • I didn't do it, just got it off another website (frugalfeeds.com.au)

        • +2

Ah. Alright. Off topic: I've been trying out different scanner apps. Google Drive's one is bad (colours are all over the place), but good enough for most things.

        • @flaminglemon: no idea of the benchmark but I use Office Lens on my Windows phone

        • +1

@Savas: Thanks. It seems it's on Android too. I'll check it out.

    • +2

This looks to expire on 28th, whereas the one from the OP starts then

      • Ah ok my bad, ignore my comment

    • +3

yes these are the old vouchers, did you really think Frugal Feeds actually did something?

      • +1

        OzB > frugal feeds

  • +2

I haven't touched Maccas in almost a year. The quality has really dropped, so quite literally, the burgers really are better at Hungry Jack's. Their angus burgers… so good.

    • +1

They are. I went to Mcdonalds the other day because I was craving for bacon and hungry jacks up here seem to not cook it crispy after 10 or midnight or whatever. Mcdonalds gave me a cheesburger with bacon, and it was just the bun and bacon. This is why I always go Hungry jacks.

      • +1

Did you show them that joke of a burger?

        • +2

Sadly it was after 1am, just got back to my friends place, and really couldnt be arsed. The two girls working there didnt even seem to care. Even closed the window on me as I was asking a question. Not even gonna bother with that place again. HJ is all we need.

  • completely the same as the old one right ?

  • +4

Cmon HJs, bring back the grilled chicken burgers on the voucher!

    • when are they from?

  • +2

Love the meal deal for "two".

    • Haha me too! It's a good snack to tide me over :)

  • +2

Finally normal whoppers are back. Not that I would eat two Whoppers on my own ( I can easily do the juniors though).

    • They're great for lunch the next day, though. :)

  • So, just to make sure, is phone fine? :)

  • Well done OP

  • +2

Does anyone have the fine print on the 2 small whopper deal, are they swappable with Veggie burgers? Sometimes they are sometimes they are not. McD's is trialing the McVegan burger, which would be interesting to see if the HJ's find a reduction in veggie whopper sales if McD's bring the McVegan to Australia. A vegetarian (and in this case vegan) option at McDs would be a nice choice when I'm travelling.

    • +3

Yes Whoppers can be substituted with Veggie Whoppers.

    delicious, delicious Food

    • It's a tie with KFC for me!

      HJs <> KFC
      .
      .
      .
      .
      .
      .
      .
      Maccas.

      • Food > everyone else :p

      • +1

KFC quality varies a lot compared to hj though. I like them both though!

        • The KFC family meal is good value. 2 burgers, 2 wraps, nuggets, popcorn chicken, 2 fries. $26.

      • guys guys guys….. the burgers are better at hungry jacks :)

      • KFC chips <> Oporto Chips. Then everything else.
The burgers really are better at Hungry Jacks though, nowhere else competes in terms of value.

  • +2

When did the central station HJ close down… Just in time for when I finally have a client out near there 😢

    • Yeah really need more HJ around, that area

    • +1

There was a fire 2 years ago.

      • wait what seriously it closed that long ago? man i'm behind the times

  • +1

Hi Op, where can i get physical copies of these vouchers ?

    • +1

      Hungry Jack's

    • +3

they usually send them in the mail to most suburbs but all locations accept digital copies and it's easier to find too

if you google "frugal feeds" , very similar to ozbargain site, they usually have hungry jacks vouchers in the first few posts along with KFC, maccaz etc

      • thanks

      • "frugal feeds" , very similar to Ozbargain site

Mate!! Did you just go there ozbargain >>>>> frugal feeds lol. Not similar :P

        • both are platforms which provide deals, codes, or vouchers for a cheaper experience of aussie products

one is for all marketing mediums
          one is specialised for food

i said similar, not exactly the same

        • @Ninjabredman: Hmmm… lol you're forgiven

  • +3

Thanks - the $3 breakfast deal is awesome, I have even started to like their coffee

    • +2

yeah there coffee is pretty good .. just wondering, how much does their coffee machine costs?

      • +1

The machines are the same (might be different model) as what 7-Eleven uses. They won't be cheap $1000-$1400 as they are designed for mass coffee making, my local 7-Eleven CBD stores have 2 machines and there is still a queue. It really comes down to the beans they use.

As HJ is right outside my work train station, the $3 breakfast is a good deal 5 days a week, feeling a bit more hungry? get the free BBQ Cheese Burger from the survey on your last receipt as well.

      • Oh some coffee loving part of me just died.
I don't know why, but everytime I go to HJ their coffee gets worse. I don't know how they can stuff it up because you just push a button but I had to chuck out my last coffee from the deal. I couldn't possibly drink it, not even with 2 (or 3) sugars.

Hungry Jacks is great don't get me wrong, but coffee is not their specialty.

        • HJ don't use the best beans, but it's consistent like 7-Eleven. Given how random shops burn their coffee and charge $4-$5 for a long black, I would rather HJ/7 than risk a burnt brew.

I'm not a coffee snob, but if I walk into HJ/7 I know what I'm going to get and the $3 Breakfast deal is pretty good value. My local (Work) HJ/Girl knows exactly what I'm ordering each morning and doesn't even ask to see the phone or ask about the coffee.

We have a $1000 Nescafe Espresso Pro machine at work that takes the round pads, but work will not provide the pads and buying them is hard unless you use their commercial website. Most of my clients have the same machines, so the odd pad makes it back to the office.

        • @Tom2222: Do you mean pods instead of pads? If so, aren't they available to get at quite a decent rate through the Nespresso stores? Obviously not up with Melbourne, but in Sydney you can.

I don't class my self as a coffee snob and the $3 breakfast deal is awesome value (compare $2.95 small coffee vs $3 with a bacon/egg muffin and hash brown). I do like 7-11 coffee although I have had once at a very busy CBD store which was average. This is why I don't get how HJ coffees can taste bad? Aren't they the same as 7-11?

          Lol lots of questions :)

        • @pennypincher98:

Not pods, these are pads, even seen an American drop one in a cup at an Airport Lounge, lucky he was saved by staff before I had to rescue him. They are great machines, but at 35c a cup and the ordering hassle, not to mention other staff pinching my supply, doesn't work out.

          https://www.nespresso.com/pro/au/en/pages/commercial-coffee-…

They have pads for commercial machines, so staff don't steal them for home use. I would pay for the coffee the machine produces, just lucky I have a number of clients with the same machines.

          As for HJ:

It's the same make of machine as what 7 uses, it's just different beans, that is why it tastes different.

Better beans, better coffee the machine can deliver.

        • @Tom2222: Oh never heard of pads?
As for HJ: it's kind of funny/ironic their slogan as theirs is "better beans means better coffee" - nowhere there does it imply they use good beans haha

        • @pennypincher98:

The $4 from an unknown and threw out as it was burnt yesterday, makes HJ/7 heaven.

I'm not here to debate the Bean used, it does it for me, if I want better, I know my local where it cost me $4.50

        • @Tom2222: normally I just go to 7-11. If I do get coffee though at a Cafe, it's at the station where it's only $2.50 for a (small) quality bean or if I could be bothered hey you free coffee at a particular Cafe (I have 2 I go to, depending on whether I'm at uni or at the centre).

I'm normally one to try around but not with coffee.

        • @pennypincher98:

You have a bad 7, mine tries to give me for free the last night Doughnuts after 3am.

        • @Tom2222: > mine tries to give me for free the last night Doughnuts after 3am.

Ummm, may I ask what time you go to 7-11??

  • Just too Stupid, it's a good deal why ask it.

    • Ever wondered by your account is not safe on OzB, just look above, Admin hacked/posted.

      • You have a bad 7, mine tries to give me for free the last night Doughnuts after 3am.

Never was posted by me, nor the language I Use.

  • why is grilled chicken never on the vouchers?!

  • Is there a high quality version of these available yet?

  • +1

slightly different set up on the hj site in pdf form

    https://hungryjacks.com.au/media/27728/hun480_national_vouch…

  • Am I paying extra for additional lettuce and onions on bacon deluxe burger?

    • +1

Nope. We don't charge extra for add or heavy salad or sauce.

      • Do you still have free medium coffee as one of the ‘shake & win’ prizes?? It seems to have disappeared after the latest update about a month ago.

        • I think that is/was brekky option, I'm not too sure if the button is still there -_-

        • @Food: Thanks.

        • I think I shook a free medium coffee at around 7:50am (store opens at 8am) about 2-3 weeks ago?
Funny how I never get anything if I shake it later, around 9-10am.

  • any phone friendly vouchers?

      • i meant the mobile vouchers like in the past which were arranged vertically, so you only need to scroll down (easier)

        • Oh right, no idea then.
Sorry, hopefully someone else can help out!

        • I think someone (not HJ) created the mobile version.

If you're on a PC, have MSPaint & the Snipping Tool, you can make a template for yourself and update it with new coupons from the pdf shared that you and yours actually use. I made one and am happy to share but it's missing a few coupons.

  • Thinking of getting 2 Whopper Juniors, 2 Small Chips and a BBQ Cheeseburger (Survey) for $4.95. Anyone tried to eat all this in one go? Probably will also add in a $1 Jumbo frozen but I can have this while walking around more.
I want a beef burger meal and this seems the best value.

    • +1

      Sounds delicious

    • Not bad considering you can get a large domino's value range pizza for that price online.

      • Funny how you bring that up actually, I had a whole dominos pizza for lunch the other day. Surprised myself, but I guess they are much smaller than they used to be.

        • +1

Nice.. normally two slices fill me up when I'm hungry but yeah I have downed a whole pizza solo before.. it felt like a life achievement.. albeit not a very healthy one

        • @AlienC:

two slices of pizza when I'm hungry

We are talking about the same dominos right?? I have 5 normally, with a couple of pieces of garlic bread. Are you talking lunch or dinner? Just had 4 slices for lunch today, would've had more except there was only 1 pizza for 2 of us :P

        • @pennypincher98: forgot to say my appetite has been all over the shop lately like some days I have eaten a whole box by myself in one sitting other times barely more than two or three with a few pieces of garlic bread.

But generally at all times two to four pieces is enough to fill me up but depending on the situation I can easily do one box then pass out somewhere nicely haha lol

        • @AlienC: Haha yeah, are these deep pan or classic crust? I always get deep pan and eat 5 of those with garlic bread. I reckon I could easily do a whole box with classic crust lol

        • @pennypincher98: classic crust but you just reminded me I need to start ordering deep pan again haha lol

        • @AlienC: Haha value range deep pan with free additional toppings is awesome. Is the classic crust crispy/hard?

        • @pennypincher98: just right for me.. when fresh it has some crunch.. when microwaved the next day still alright but considerable less crunch but still quite heavy.. more thickness than thin n crispy that's for sure.

But deep pan is so good when you have it unexpectedly.

        • @AlienC: Yeah deep pan is either fluffy or dense. Its a gamble, but then again seems like classic crust is as well.

        • +1

@pennypincher98: hmm yeah true.. to be honest my favorite one used to be puff pastry but I can't remember how used to do it now lol

          Anyways a $5 pizza is a $5 pizza

  • Had a Kitkat deluxe thick shake today. It had about 1 teaspoon worth of kitkat powder at the bottom of the cup and 1 teaspoon at the top over the cream. Is this how its supposed to be? I thought KitKat would be blended in. So disappointed as all the kitkat crumbs came in the first couple of sips and then nothing.

    • So it should be a decent serving at the top and bottom (one "pump" of the dispenser")

  • Apparently they are not accepting multiple vouchers in one visit any longer. I just asked and was denied at the South Perth HJs.

    • Technically you are only supposed to have one voucher per transaction, according to the fine print.
Nothing to say you can't have multiple transactions though :)

Even if everyone around South Perth is at HJ, you'll probably only need to wait behind 3 people anyway xD

  • The nearest hungry Jack's for me is a two hour ride by pubic transport .. fudge me
