The iPad 32GB for $398 plus $20 coupon seems like a good deal.

    • +1

I would imagine the offer excludes Apple but will check when I get to my destination.

      • +1

Excludes Apple BTO, says nothing about Apple in general so should be ok.

        • +1

Yup, all good. That’s probably why I thought I saw Apple on the exclusions.

    Is this offer nation wide

    • +1

Should be everywhere expect airport locations.

  • +2

Is it 1 coupon per customer? Or per transaction or something?

    • just found out myself it print after you made payment so $20 per transaction :)

  • +1

Can I use it with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/344253?
Guess not as T&C states "Cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon." but just wanted to confirm.

    • +1

You will get it if you reach 100 spend with that offer though - I spent 107 on blurays and dvds (with the 28% discount) and received a receipt print out of the $20 coupon

      • Awesome! Thank you for the confirmation!

      • Oh, BTW, did you have to show them both voucher for the 28% discount and $20 coupon? Thanks.

        • Sorry I just reread my comment in light of your reply; you get the $20 coupon to use in ANOTHER transaction; not the same transaction with the 28%. so you could use it the same day in another purchase.

        • @3252900sl: I understood it that way but thanks for clarifying it again.
So, you just showed them the 28% discount email and got the $20 coupon? thanks.

        • @wooyugil: the $20 coupon is a receipt print out after your transaction receipt prints out. So long as you hit $100 min spend it prints out automatically by the looks of it.

        • +1

@3252900sl: Managed to get one yesterday. Thanks again!

Was thinking of buying one item then immediately using the coupon, but:

"Coupon redeemable from the day after issue, instore as a single transaction only"

I read somewhere that the sale is supposed to be for 4 days at JB?

      • +1

Two trips to JBHiFi then :(

  • +1

Might pick up the google home that i've been waiting for now that it's $149 at JB HiFi now with this $20 voucher. Brings it down to about the price i want to pay for one. Good deal!

    • +1

there's a better deal at bing lee's eBay site with click and collect for 120!

      • +1

True, no bing lee's near me though so happy with JB's pricing for now. It'll probably go down a little bit more before christmas but i've got mine in front of me currently playing music so i'm happy. :)

  • +1

I just done a click & Collect order online on the Nintendo Switch, frack!

    • When you go in store and collect see if you can return it and re-buy in store? You're going there anyways yeah?

      • Correct..but i used an e-gift card to buy it online.

  • so when you spend, say $600 do you get $20 x 3?

    • +1

Doesn't say but if they don't maybe try 6 different transaction of $100.05 each

      • can you split the note 8 to 5 different payments? lol

    • it's any spend over $100, not for every $100. split transactions would be the only way, but can't see that on one item.

  • Can you pay with gift card and receive the coupon?

    • -1

that's a no, I was thinking the same thing lol

      • +2

Where does it say you can't pay with gift card? Says you can't buy gift cards.

      • why the neg? was only stating the terms and conds.
anyhoo, grabbed a note 8 today with gift voucher an I got the $20 voucher, so all good.

    • +1

I don't see why not, a gift card is like a debit card or cash, as long as you buy something that's not excluded, should be the same as any other transaction I would've thought.

    • +2

Yes you can, I did it this morning.

    • yes you can. I paid $950 thorough gift card, rest through credit card (bought note 8 $978) still i received $20 voucher.

  • Can you get the $20 coupon if you buy PlayStation wallet top up?

  • +1

Damn, wouldn't mind using this to grab a BenQ GW2270H + a $1 item, then use the voucher on the discounted MX Master. Too bad I don't live near a store.

    • I thought the same. I badly need that small monitor for my work. How we add up $1 and make it $100?

      • Not sure. They may have some cheap batteries or cables available in-store. Might go a few bucks over, but still could be worth it depending on what you plan to use the voucher on.

  • I have just called (02 9928 7000) JB, Sydney. CBD and they confirmed that there is no such offer! You guys must check with them before you make a move..

    • +4

The email I have from JB confirms otherwise

  • +1

Castle hill confirmed that the offer is real

  • +1

This deal should be upvoted for any gamer….

    Spend 100 and get 20 credit?….
My god …price match and will make this alltime winner deal!

Fyi: voucher will only be activated next day

    • shit

Makes the switch $379 instore then.

  • +1

So how do you get this if you haven't received the email?

    • The email doesn't contain any code or anything specific. The picture from this deal is taken direct from the email so you could show them on your phone and try that way?

      • Yeap, that worked.

  • Excludes Playstation plus

  • +2

    Thanks OP

    Just bought
    PS4 GT $29
    2TB Seagate External HDD $79
    Total 108
    & Got
$20 coupon to use from tomorrow onwards.

Now let's see what can I buy from that free $20..!

  • -1

Could buy wish gift cards $400 for $380 then buy the switch and get $80 of vouchers, and come back and buy Zelda

Switch + Zelda for $380 brand new is a good deal :)

  • +3

    Thanks OP
    bought
    Uncharted - The Lost Legacy
    Dragon Quest Heroes 2
    Everybody's Golf
    Horizon Zero Dawn
    GT Sport
    Kingdom Hearts 2.8
    Nioh
    Gravity Rush 2 (preowned)

All for 203 using JBHIFI free gift card from previous mobile deal and I got back $40 to spend tomorrow…..absolutely nuts and way better than PSN black friday.

    • Did you get $20 per $100 or did you do it as two transactions?

      • +1

two transactions …separately as the line was long

  • For those who just bought a PSVR and looking for the Move twinsticks, you can pricematch Bigw for 109 to get this coupon.

  • +1

FYI got the coupon it says valid for next in store purchase expires Dec 24, 2017.

Nothing about having to wait until tomorrow to use it…it’s already active.

  • The Amazon effect I see. That's how they are trying to drag customers this way

  • Anyone tried to use this voucher today? if it works today, can possibly combine with the 10% extra off blu-rays

    • Tried using it but the staff at the register said it's only active tomorrow.

      • Ahh thanks, would have been nice to use it today though. Business would probably lose too much if it was allowed lol

  • Hey folks I bought from JB today (over $500) but didn't get a voucher. Didn't ask for it at the time. Reckon I could go back and ask for it?

    • +2

      Yes

    • Mine was printed on the receipt. Wasn't there at all? I was expecting a gift card but didn't get that.

      • I'll double check! I'm sure I didn't though. Thanks for your help

        • +1

It was a separate voucher printed with your reciept. I was able to use mine last night after getting it yesterday morning. Picked up a minecraft Xbox one s bundle which had an extra game of forza 5 so was lucky. Got it for $239 plus got another $20 voucher. Bonus.

  • +1

This was actually super groovy. I spoke to the guy at the counter, he said a heap of people had been using the coupons on the day, they just take about 15 minutes to activate in their system. So I ended up doing a few purchases over a period of 1 hour in store. Each coupon was automatically printed off with the receipt. Using them but still hitting over $100 would still net you one as well. I ran out of hands to old bags so I had to call it a day and returned home with 2 vouchers left to use before Christmas. Good times. Good times.

    • Sounds like you were definitely making the most of the sale!

  • expire at midnite tonite?

    • Wasn't it 24th?

      • by 24th. luckily chaddy was open till midnite.
        almost lost it.
        instore only a pain

  • Shit, I have forgotten to use the coupon. It’s kinda dumb to have it in-store only.

    • lol rip
