  • Flash Paranoid Android to it and you'll have a great phone for an excellent price. Bought mine for $170 2 months ago.

    • +1

      so $215 isn't a good deal I suppose?

      • Oops I mean I paid $170USD.. đŸ˜‹

        • Handsomemonkey. Did you get the x722 or the x720?

There isn't as many roms available for the x722. Also trickier to root and flash new roms according to xda.

        • @I know nothing:

I got the x722. The x720 was about 120$ more.

I flashed twrp with fastboot and flashed Paranoid Android with twrp the same as my other phone. However with my x626 I bricked it when flashing twrp. I wasn't sure what happened there. I managed to get it fixed and now running Miui 9.

        • @HandsomeMonkey:

Very interesting. The x722 is much cheaper because of the lack of roms and high risk of bricking with the bootloader from the official 26s Rom, notwithstanding the difference in CPU. There is now a workaround on xda.

Do you have link to paranoid android? I don't see it on xda.

          I am trying to decide between the x722 4GB 32gb, x722 6gb 64gb (USD$200) and the Axon 7

        • @I know nothing:

X722 is cheaper because it doesn't have nfc, and comes with a sd820 instead of the sd821. Both phone will get it's bootloader locked if you update to the official 26s ROM.
          Here's a link to Paranoid Android https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/leeco-le-pro-3-elit…

Where did you see the 6/64 for $200usd ? That's a really good price for an extra 2gig RAM and 32gig ROM. However if you have more money to spend I would go with the Axon 7 for the front stereo speakers and daydream capability.( I have a brand-new daydream goggle waiting to be used but I can't afford an Axon now since I already purchased two LeEco phones last month. No regret though, LeEco phones are great. Pity the official software sucks.

        • @HandsomeMonkey:

Thanks for the link to paranoid rom.

Have a look at banggood. I forgotten that we can't post link to resellers.

I prefer the Axon 7 too but it is hard to go past the x722 32GB for A$210. Nothing else comes even close for the specs.

        • @I know nothing:

          That's right,

Prices of LeEco phones are ridiculously low and the built quality are great. Even the $130 LeEco Le S3 x626 is so as good as any $300-400 phones sold in Australia.

  • Gracias amigo.

  • For the curious- no band 28, no microSD slot, no 3.5mm headphone jack, average camera.

But if you can live with these limitations it's a decent price for a phone with SD820 and 4GB RAM. Not sure if you can get the Google cam APK working but if so it should improve the camera too.

    • Serious, no earphones? Is everything Bluetooth?

  • Good luck with it. Bought a Max2 and the fingerprint is painful and multifunction. It turned out a common issue

    • Le Max 2 and Le Pro 3 is a different phone. I've never had any problem with my Le Max 2 before. I also don't have any problem with Le Pro 3 and Le S3 x626 right now.
