Pretty reasonable for what they are. As long as you go in understanding the limits of Chrome OS you should be okay.
2GB of RAM with Chrome is rather questionable though

I got a basic as shit image editing thing )which is basically just used to cross out my name in screenshots), a solitaire game, and JS Torrent. Thing takes about 5 seconds to go from fully shut down to logged in, and loads all my apps instantly.

i think that is a much better bargain unless we can upgrade the ram ourself.
2GB is not quite enough RAM in it to run Chrome with +10 tabs and Slack, but not a bad Xmas pressie for people who continually mis-use their Windows based PC's and load it full of junkware. Harder to infect a locked down Chromium OS.

I have this chrome book and I've been using it for over a year now.
It is fairly reliable. I consistently open 5-10 tabs without it slowing down.
If you start using Google docs and slides it will slow down a little. I find I'm best of only having 1-2 tabs when using those programs.
Well worth it for the price either way.

Basic internet browser laptop.
I own one and used it for a year of light use. For those worried about low specs it's pretty responsive due to chrome OS. Just do your research on chrome OS before pulling the trigger.
It works well with Citrix, you can use it to connect to a Windows VDI..
But the resolution is too low..
