Works for me, connecting to AU and US servers fine.

  • Have you tried a different computer or mobile?

Have you turned your computer off and on again?

  • Try change connection to TCP instead of UDP. In the settings.

  • Is PIA the VPN to get?

I've been having the same issues recently.
Been with them for 3 years, ready to move and unhappy that I pre-paid another year, 3 months ago.

Changing to UDP didn't work. The only thing that works is throttling the speed of any downloads, and limiting concurrent connections for peer-to-peer traffic.

I guess PIA are exit-scamming now.

    • Are you sure that it's not an issue with your router or ISP? This especially:

and limiting concurrent connections for peer-to-peer traffic.

Makes me think that it's rather your router that's getting congested from network traffic.

      • I thought this too, and actually bought a new router (with a dual-core 1.6ghz processor).
It didn't help. I subscribed to TorGuard to try them instead, but have been too busy to set it up and test it :s

        • That's weird. I had the same issue, but upgrading my router solved it. But I also limit P2P traffic to 5 concurrent connections by default, having too many might be overwhelming even your new router.

        • @0blivion: the thing is, I run 'top' on the router and CPU usage isn't too high.

I'll post back when I try out torguard, but i dm'd a rep on here a while ago and he told me I won't have these issues with their service.

    try re-installing the program.

i know this sounds silly, but if you have no network connection you will have no vpn.

    is you network up?

    • Yes network is fine
