        @djEthen: After 2 weeks, the item was finally returned to the forwarder in Sydney, but instead of resending it with my correct address, it was sent back to China. No idea why.

        Pretty pissed but at least I got my money back.

    I just got an email from the seller in horrible English explaining mine was held up in customs as a "Dangerous Goods" and that it cleared yesterday to continue with delivery, I'm guessing they didn't declare the batteries in the shipment which caused issues on a customs inspection. The same email also offered a refund as an apology for the delay but to be fair when I purchased the item it did say estimated date would be January 16th so I don't care about the refund really if it ends up showing up.
