        • I also ordered, even I don't need anything. Already get my iphone x from Myer

        • Just to clarify, could you buy 1 x $500 JB gift card through JB website by using the 5 x $100 vouchers purchased through Ebay?? Thanks

        • @tendliya:

what would the purpose be? longer expiry or all of the credit on one card?

        • +1

@eskylidder: Single card so that the poor staff at JB don't have to scan so many times to complete a transaction during these busy times.

Also, security to be having a gift card from JB directly in case there are any issues from this mob

        • @tendliya: yes.

        • How do you stack them ? Thinking about doing the same

        • @Ryxxi: How do you stack them? Once you put the card number and pin number and click 'Add Card', will it give you an option to add another card?

        • @tendliya: yes..

        • @Ryxxi: Thanks. Successfully added the 5 cards on JB website to buy a single $500 voucher

        • @tendliya:
Hi mate, Have you received your $500 voucher from JB-hifi yet?

        • @tidie: Yes, I did receive it 20 minutes after purchasing it on the JB website. They are probably getting hammered now, so might take a while

        • +1

          @tendliya:
found in my spam folder, cheers

      • Multiple ebay/paypal accounts :)

  • Is anyone able to advise when the 15% off offer ends? Only clue was more than 10 available.

    • Dec 24 10pm

  • I purchased 3 but got an email with a single card in it… Are people receiving multiple emails based on how many cards they buy or is it all in one email?

    • +1

Answered my own question… I'm just too impatient.
      Seperate emails, 5 mins apart!
      Crisis averted

  • Can someone please clarify, could you buy 1 x $500 JB gift card through JB website by using the 5 x $100 vouchers purchased through Ebay?? Thanks

    • Yep it's possible

      • -1

How do you stack them? Once you put the card number and pin number and click 'Add Card', will it give you an option to add another card?

  • Grabbed 2 x (5 x $100's). Seemed too good a way to get 15% off with very little hassle or risk of paying higher price down track for an item I want. Thanks OP.

  • Does anyone know if we can put in multiple ebay gift cards for one transaction? And I assume it will be put in into the same textbox where the coupon code usually goes that no extra 'coupon' can be stacked? cheers

  • +2

$100 JB cards are out of stock - that'll put a dampener on for many!

    • Just as I was purchasing too. Damn.

    • +3

      $100 back up for sale

  • bought 5x$50 instead. good enough!

  • If only we could but heaps…another Nikon d850 would be great. JB will do one for around $5k a little less if your lucky. 15% off that and would make a great price.

  • Just bought a Supercheap giftcard, arrived 15min later then I checked balance on Supercheap's website and it was correct. Win!

  • damn, $100 JB out of stock

    • +2

$100 JB card back in stock!

      • Hear me roar!! [rushing to checkout

  • PURCHASED. Confirmed legit.

  • Don't forget to use your Amex CC (if you still have the offer)

"Spend $100 or more, get $20 back, up to 2 times"

    • Care to share link?

  • Genuine Question:
Just wondering whether this 15% discount will be more competitive, compared to 20% off Bing Lee or TGG, if I want to get OLED TV at some point next year?

    • +4

Wait for the 20% off sale from Bing Lee or TGG, go to JB to price match (which happens 99% of the time) and pay with these cards. Beautiful savings.

      • I need to remember this

        • No they won’t match ebay.

      • Tried this at JB yesterday with the 20% off TGG ebay sale and they would not price match ebay :(

        • Fair enough with the Ebay sales I guess as Ebay covers some of the discount. When Harvey Norman had a 20% sale on Sony TV's, I price matched at JB and bought with the discounted gift cards at the time. The price at JB was almost $700 more than Harvey Norman. I politely asked them if I can price match as I like JB better, he checked with the manager right in front of me, double checked on Harvey Norman website if the price is true and price matched it.

  • How do I tell the expiry date of the eGift card?

    • The JB one tells you when you check balance online - https://giftcards.jbhifi.com.au/CheckBalance/

      • Thanks.
        Expired in year 2116?

        • +1

JB cards don't expire i looked at the T&C so i presume that's why they just give 99 yrs exp date.

        • @phobo:
Interesting…it is 24 months expiry date for physical gift card bought in store.

  • Can I use JB eCard to buy google play gift card instore?

  • Guys can these be used in store?

    • +1

      Yes

  • Bought JB gift card purely for 4K BD.

  • +1

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/Gift-Cards/Gift-Card-Terms-and-Con…

    Clause 9 says:

All Gift Cards sold at JB Hi-Fi or at third party locations do not expire. Gift Cards can be redeemed at any time even if a Gift Card specifies an expiry date. This excludes Ultimate Kids Gift Cards and Ultimate Teens Gift Cards, which will be subject to the expiry date stated on those cards.

So I'm presuming whether you buy the ones through PayPal, or then transfer them onto a larger balance card from JB Hi-Fi, they'll have no expiry date.

    • yes. no expiry!

No allowing me to buy JBHIF $100 Gift cards 10 or more?
    Ringing EBAY????????????

I have refreshed screen…says there but when added to card no allowing?

    • +1

      you can only buy 5.

      • Yeah that sux…..why did OP not State MAX 5 cards or has that changed?

So you have to use multiple accounts?

        • Why are people negging facts? He's right.

  • Aww, shame there's no PlayStation Store cards.

    • just buy them from JB using the gift cards

    • Buy them from JB Hi-Fi.

      • …….

        • ….?

Finally got all the codes and got the order put through so I can confirm this works. Id post it as a deal but heading out so someone else can if they deem it ok.

Xbox One X (HARDWARE) with PuBG Delivered for $650 can now be purchased through the Microsoft store using you're digital Xbox currency. (You can buy some accessories too)

So I purchased 5 * $100 Xbox live gift cards = $425 and get you're Xbox One X for $575. If you had multiple Ebay account's you could get it for around $550.

Make sure you use cashrewards as well and you should also get Bing rewards points for the purchase so make sure you're logged into you're account.

I used my Microsoft rewards points to get another $150 worth of cards (from a recent Surface purchase for my wife) and all the daily Bing clicking, it pays off really :). So I ended paying $425 for a new Xbox im very happy and thanks heaps to the OP.

    • +2

CashRewards Expected cashback: AUD 33.08 email confirmation received.

  • +3

This is a very good discount off the gift cards.

By the way, for those who may be looking to buy them with credit cards (EVEN IF through paypal), you might get charged a cash advancement fee from your credit card institutions. So safer to buy with debit cards.

    • +3

Yeah, nobody wants a repeat of the cash advance fees from that deal. It was a good deal from TA, but the backend processing of the cards meant that a lot of payment providers flagged the purchase as that of a "cash-equivalent" rather than goods and services.
I used my 28 degrees card and got slapped with the fee, and had to have multiple calls and hours of time invested into getting it reversed as well as interest wiped.

    • so which card would treat it as cash advance. I have westpac and amex

      • +2

It depends on the seller. Blackhawk (seller of those giftcards) processed it as a transaction that's akin to cash advance..
I just checked my NAB acc statement, it's "Purchase Authorisation" for "Paypal Private Australia".
Looks like it's being treated as a purchase, which is what we want

        • +1

Anyone else who have paid with credit card? Looking for more reports before I make the purchase myself :)

        • +1

@somebodyhere: I have used my credit card for the purchase, an ING orange one (visa), and I wasn't charged a cash advance fee, it's not treated as "cash equivalent". The transaction has as description "PAYPAL *PAYPALAUSTR Sy".

      • Has anyone used a Commbank Amex card to pay for this? Did you get charged any cash advance fee?
Referring to the link MathNerd posted, carlb commented that:
"Cash Advance fee Applies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to credit card payment from
Latitude and Commonwealth credit cards recognise the PayPal Blackhawk seller as financial services"

I guess I should just use the debit card just to be safe…

any one have the code yet?
it's been 1 hours now after check out. STILL NO EMAIL?

    • My supercheap and jb ones arrived 15min after ordering.

    • Mine the same, no email on my GC received as yet…

    • Received mine in less than 15 minutes. Have you checked spam folder?

      • Yup, nothing in my spam folder either.

        • They might be getting hammered now. So, it might take a while for you the receive them.

    • mine took about an hour and that was awhile ago. I presume with more people purchasing it now the processing time is taking longer.

    • I'm still waiting as well for my jb cards, have been just over an hour now.

    • My first lot came through in 15mins, still waiting on my second lot. Purchased 1hr+ ago.

  • +1

I purchased a card directly from jb with these awhile ago and haven’t got anything apart from a confirmation email. Anyone know how long it usually takes?

    • +2

same problem, got confirmation and order status shows shipped.
      no giftcard received.

      • Are you guys still waiting for the voucher from JB or have you received it now? How long did it take? Thanks!

        • received 30 mins after ordered, remember to check your spam folder

        • Received it, probably instantly (it was in my junk mail which doesn’t load on my phone so I didn’t know)

    • just wait, guys. it takes about 6hours for me to get the jb one. those gift card works.

  • +1

Seems the emails are slower, getting hammered ?

  • I missed out on the recent PS4 Pro deals ($419 with GT and $399 Console only) and have been waiting for another deal. JB have the regular PS4 + GT for $389 so it would go down to $330.65 with the gift cards - debating whether to just go for that? I see there are a few games they are offering for $39 with the purchase of a console too.

    • well god guys has 20% off so PS4 Pro for $387 on front page, I would go Pro with such small price difference

      • Thanks I just saw that. I think I might go for it. I was going to have to trade in the GT anyway and was only quoted $16 by EB.

        • $375.20 pick-up in store.
