Has TM Lewin changed their returns policy?

Just wondering if their returns policy has changed recently (and specifically store returns which were bought online)?

I remember returning a jacket to their Chadstone store which I bought online and they accepted it no questions asked. I do remember being told that a refund can be expected once it was returned back to the UK and processed. This was going back some 16 months ago.

Looking at their policy now
"We hope that you’ll be pleased with your choice of TM Lewin products but if you’re not then please note that if you return your products to us from Australia it will be at your own risk and cost. Please use airmail only. If the goods are faulty we will be happy to refund the full return costs once we have received and inspected them."

Not sure what to make of that. I am keen on buying a suit online, but am not 100% sure on the fit. Was thinking of taking the gamble and hoping I could return it if its not to my liking.

Anyone returned anything recently?

I don't know if the policy has changed but can you find the suit in store to try on before buying online?

    • I've been told just today that the fit among all suits is the same. So I know my size. I'm just trying to double check just in case there I need to return it, what the terms are.

Why not call TM Lewin and ask them? Not sure why you would hope someone here has returned something when you can just double check with the store itself right now.

    • This is quite true. Although I feel bad asking a bricks and mortar retailer if I can return a product I bought online, but I'll just do this.
