Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Australian Stock

Hi all keen for some assistance.
Looking to purchase a Note 8. Require Australian stock with tax invoice. Any idea if would be able to purchase sub $1000 with one of the two eBay sales? Either 10% site wife or selected stores 20%
Just seems some of the stores have placed the rrp $1500 for above $1600.
Don't want to pay more than what the price was with JB.

  • Amaysim? HK stock but ABN Tax Invoice

  • Yea hoping at least one store will get Note 8 below $1000 again. But I visited an JB, Good Guys and HN on Friday and they said its probably not going to happen. Apparently the black Friday sale was a one time thing. Hope for the best tomorrow.

Check out Amaysim, comes with 2 Year local warranty and is priced at $916. Only difference is no Samsung pay. But it is a dual sim variant.

I'm going to check out local stores tomorrow and if they dont have sub $1000 prices going to pull the trigger on the Amaysim deal.

    • Sucks that Samsung Pay doesn't work in Australia with the HK/Chinese models. I was going to buy the dual Sim model but now I'm holding off on a better deal for aussie stock. Currently using a OnePlus 5 but have wanted to get the Note after seeing the specs and S-pen :p

  • +1

I got it for 980 from the Harvey Norman deal late November. Really happy with the phone and was an epic upgrade from my galaxy S5 and stand in iPhone 6 plus while I shopped around.

Only thing I don't like is that the battery life is below my expectation. If I had my time again I'd probably get the S8+ due to the slightly smaller screen and 200mAh larger battery which gives it longer battery life. I didn't think I'd use the S pen but it has grown on me and I use it all the time now.

  • I am also waiting for sub 900 to buy one. Its difficult to swallow the current price after seeing black friday price.

Based on previous years experience, there won't be much sales (even during boxing) they have got all the revenue for the next couple of months.
