  • Is the ANC any good?

    • The ANC is top notch. However I did a small tweak to the way JBL envisaged to use them. Doing that I seem to have unintentionally fixed the biggest flaw in these earphones. I am going to explain it in one of the comments. Please refer to that. Thank you.

Just went through the reviews. After seeing them, I can only come to one conclusion. I did a small tweak to the way JBL envisaged us to use them. Doing that I seem to have unintentionally fixed their biggest flaw and got a great sounding, noise canceling earphone out of them. Lol.

So, what is their biggest flaw? If you have seen the pics, they do not go into your ear canal, letting in all kinds of sounds and causing sound leakage. They hang in the ears with the two different sets of ear tips provided. The secure tips and ear tips.

For me, none of the secure tips gave a proper fit. So I simply removed them and used only the ear tips. Doing that, I got a perfect fit and the ear tips went right into my ear canal and stuck perfectly there. I was getting the great JBL quality sound, passive and active noise cancellation. It was so good, that I wanted to keep hearing and came here to let the oz bargain community know.

      Hope I explained the things.

BTW the earphones also have an app where we can do lots of customizations, push updates and all.

  • Is this good for flying?
