Considering the exchange value is about 200 NAB point/$1, you will need to spend $39,000 to be able to cover the annual fee, it's too much for me :)

Not for the first year when u count the bonus points.

    • Agreed, i got the card and for the first year its been great with the bonus points being awesome (got 3x$100 gift cards).
But yeah, I use the card and cash out the 20k point for a $100 gift card. I dont think I can spend $39k a year to make it worth it. Does Ozbargain have a best card to get for rewards?

  • Thanks Sween. I’ve run out of decent $0 annual fee ones to use.
Edit - I mistook this for frequent flyer points.

    • NAB does have a Qantas Frequent Flyer offer.

The annual fee is too steep imo

  • What's the best way to cash out?

    • get a gift card for fuel, supermarket, bunning, TGG whatever you need and keep your money in your pocket :)

  • Thanks. Bought 3.

No annual fee for Choice package members

  • 2:1 for velocity off memory. Maybe less. Annual is too high for 50k points. I'd go virgin card with 60k for $64 and includes a $129 virgin flight credit.

Keep in mind that NAB waive credit crad annual fees for shareholdings of >500 shares. Yes, I know, this will cost about $15k on todays market BUT you earn about 9% pa on the investment (including franking credits) and the shares can be resold anytime.
