[Note: GB deal has now expired as of 12:22AM Sydney Time]

    • Yep - bought one myself a few days ago, although white only?

    • cheers.. i have updated the post with this information :)

      • If you are after WHITE one then you can try this deal from Gearbest AU $13.30

Works out to around $12.30 as the USD had dropped since that post.

        • nice.. but its difficult to update AU price in description every time.so i will remove it to avoid confusion.

  • never got my 2 orders from DD4, wouldn't trust them.

    • how long is it now?

      edit: bad reviews thou https://au.trustpilot.com/review/dd4.com

    • I haven’t bought anything from them yet, but I suppose you need to expect at least a month’s delivery time for items marked as “free and untracked”.

Still considering these guys or going the eBay route

    • Ive ordered a couple of things, always arrived.

eBay has black or white at USD$10.99

    • Thanks.. surely this one's the better buy, no?

    • Hah the links you have go to this product for US$99!!!

      • Because last one of each color. Dodgy price jacking

  • This complies with Australia's Electrical Standards?

Every thread has a comment like this.

      • no they don’t have to.
      • and no, insurer won’t void your case when your house burns down

        That's reassuring.

      • Ah ok. Thanks.

        Source link to your claims?

        • You pretty much can search for past threads and see very detailed answer to your questions there

  • Does anyone know if the usb ports’ power are shared or each has 2A? (i.e: will my phone charge slower if all 3 ports are used)

  • Any deal for the 6 socket board? :)

  • +1

Have a few of these, quality is above your average supermarket / hardware store powerboards (not by a lot, but my enough to matter).
    Great value for money.

    • I would say way above the junk I have bought in Australia. I have so many powerboards from OZ that pins are loose and arc or not work at all. From hardware and department stores. These fit like a glove.

  • What's USD now?
    .81?

  • Does anyone know of something similar but with UK style sockets?

  • +1

Buyer beware - based on the pictures, these power boards do not feature insulated pins, which is not allowed to be bought/sold in Australia. (illegal?)

The power pins need those (usually) black tape covers on the root of the pins to be legal/safe.

    • I have some appliances in my house that are 30+ years old. No insulation on the pins, no house fires or electrocutions.
