  Just booked some accom in Sydney, $304 value. AUPAY10 Code said not applicable to this booking, but the rockapp25au did.

  Also if you use a discount coupon for a booking you cannot add that booking to the buy 10 get 1 night free promo e-card

  But something better than nothing. Thanks OP.

    The AUPAY10 code only seems to work if you first visit https://au.hotels.com/hotel-deals/paypal/ and search for the hotel from there.

      how and where do I enter the code? Ihave reached payment screen via paypal but cant see any option to enter code.

        It's back on the hotels.com bookings page where you enter your details/payment info.
        There's an 'Apply a coupon' link on the right hand side underneath the total price.

  Be wary of buying from them. I was in the USA during the huge Grayson storm fiasco about a month ago, absoloutely unable to fly to my destination (flights cancelled across the country all in the news entirely) and they refused to refund a hotel for me, despite hassling them multiple times, the operator couldn't even call the hotel, apparently - just email them (wtf?)

    That's why you get travel insurance or book a flexible room policy. Nothing to do with the trustworthiness of hotels.com
    I like stacking their rewards program with cashrewards and price match wherever possible.

    Hotels.com price match pretty easy just send a screen shot… Usually refunded under 12 hours plus get cash back and 10 get 1 if not using coupon

      Any idea if they price match the coupon discounted price of cheap tickets? Which is nearly always 16-18%…

  Could work out OK for some. But cashrewards with Hotels.com rewards is almost equal.
