These kind of things are usually only $3~$5 bucks or less on eBay. I know this is Xiaomi brand so quality will be good but it seems a bit expensive

Probably a lot more expensive as it has an E-ink screen, which I assume is like a Kindle screen.

I wish it had a AAA battery then I would be interested.

    • The one from your second link is pretty good, bought one from another seller 4-5~ years ago and it works like a charm, changing batteries 2 or 3 times.
Although the digital Time goes off after a while.

  • Does it connect to anything or is it a dumb sensor?

    • I removed the word "sensor" from the title because there is a similar Xiaomi digital temperature sensor which is used as part of home automation / IoT

this product should not be confused with the IoT enabled / bluetooth version of the Mijia sensor. That is the one with the round LCD screen

      • So it's standalone?

        • Yes its just a regular thermometer with hygroscopic meter with no mi home app support

        • @scrimshaw:
          Great been looking for one
          Thanks

  • oooooooooohhhhhhh pity i already bought the bluetooth version

    • oh it's just a sensor and doesn't connect for remote access. pass.
