    • just the credit check declined… no need to overstate things

is this plan eligible for the Apple Watch eSim?

    • Same question. Anyone has answer?

  • Deal is still being honoured through live chat..

  • I mentioned deal to work colleague and he went to Vodafone and they matched it (but not the free data for Spotify/Netflix etc).

So I got this deal and added wife + daughter onto $20/month@3GB plans each. So $70 a month for 3 phone plans with data pooling sharing 21GB all up with free Spotify and Netflix (and a few other deals) streaming. Hard to beat!

(Note: $20/month plans are the $30/month plans you see online…but an Optus store will discount subsequent phone plans where you have multiple plans all linked together).

  • Optus has lost the plot, they didn't tell me anything for 10 days and then one email saying my order was declined due to credit check. They've got to be kidding if they declined someone with no credit issues, past postpaid optus customer (more than 6 months ago) and a decently high income. Just mental. I only wanted to get their plan for the esim for my apple watch 3 and Telstra's plans are too expensive.

  • I just got my bill and its $40, anyone else in the same boat? Optus are shit and have directed me to talk with click frenzy. Please help if you know whats going on. Im sure i purchased it correctly.

    • In the same boat, just received the first bill for $40 even though I definitely signed up correctly. Contacted optus via the online chat and got the 25% discount applied manually from this bill and (hopefully) all future bills.

        • Yeah i talked with support as well, i didnt get a manual $10 off (some bullshit like starting fee) but they said it should be $30 from now on.
