I don't think anyone is pumped for a lowly 10% ebay sale anymore

  • Someone remind me, can you somehow use such an ebay code when the seller negotiates a lower price of a product via ebay message?

    • The code is added in cart/checkout so would apply to what ever price is there. Assume seller sends new invoice with price.

      • Do you know if the procedure would be to ask the seller to send me an invoice for the goods? I then go through checkout as normal from the invoice link and apply the code? Or some other way. The particular item doesn't allow "request of totals to seller".

        • Not sure but think seller can send invoice from their side. If multi buy they used to be able to combine postage like that for me.

        • Thanks. Looks like an invoice will be sent for the item and I will pay then as normal.

Now, Gandalf, final question, look into your crystal ball for me and tell me, do I wait for a 10% or more sitewide code or go for the 5% now (as guessed, my query has nothing to do with the OP's deal).

        • @OldBugger: sorry I'm not an ebay oracle :)
