        I know right.
Well sorry i should say i assume he is selling this code…. as i haven't sighted it
but what other code could it be…?

        its unaustralian!

        • +1

It's definitely the one. How sad that people can stoop this low. Wish there was a way we could call him out. Thanks again for the find.

        • @tightarse: report on eBay?

        • @fez: Not sure there's anything they can do? Hopefully others can comment.

        • @tightarse: yeh i dont think it violates any policies…
whoever buys it would get the oz-bargin landing page?

i guess u could politely contact the eBay seller and request they remove it from eBay…

        • @fez: Tempted to fork out the $30 and leave a review calling out this post.

        • @tightarse:

Why not ask Sony to change the code and hope the eBay seller doesn't realise?

          Or end the special early?

        • +1

          @tightarse:
Maybe just create a new listing to sell the code for 1 cent, then refund ( if needed ) and supply the code

        • @maxchange: I like that, you're good!

What would the fees be on a $0.01 sale though?

        • +1

@maxchange: or just make an eBay listing with the code / link to ozb

        • +2

@fez: I think Sony got onto eBay or the seller as the listing has ended.

      • Just report the scum.

      • +1

        That's a new low, haha.

    • +1

Must be someone short on cash.

    • +1

Someone should write the coupon code in a review for the eBay listing

    • Shit, that's a new low! Always someone profiting off a good deed (deal).

  • Ebay Listing

    "49" X8000E 4K HDR TV with 4K X-Reality PRO" with price only $1,795 AUD (RRP $2,999 AUD)

Thanks, TA! It's a really great discount. I have already ordered my KD55X9300E. I can't help waiting for it and test it with PS4PRO and XBOX1X :P

    • I can't help waiting for it and test it with PS4PRO and XBOX1X :P

      I hope you HAOF.

  • Does anyone know if sony tv's support wireless bluetooth headphones?

    • They do but I've heard from others in forums that not all headphones work. Could ask Sony support to see or even try it in store? I've got my cheaper Bluedio ones which have no issue on the Sony X9000e. Seems like it's only a select few which had issues connecting.

  • I ordered the 55 inch version first thing Thursday, didn't get confirmation of it till Friday morning. I've not had a shipping notice. I wonder when I can expect this TV to be shipped?

  • Good Work TA, another step forward.

OZB, if you haven't found out, you may get free shipping when you use the TA-OZB-SONY code on other deals (tried it on 65" OLED) ;)

Is a good deal, but is anyone else having shipping woes ?

I ordered on the 18/3 was advised my order shipped on 19/3 with tracking link indicating pickup that same day from HORSLEY PARK and expected delivery to Brisbane 20/3, it hasn't updated since. I'm not getting any answers from Sony or the DHL subsidiary that is handling the shipping despite multiple inquiries via phone and email the past 2 days as to what is going on.

    • I have same situation for this deal. I ordered on the 15/3 then shipped on 16/3. picked on 19/3. but still in transit and hasn’t updated yet.

anyone had a answer from sony or got delivered this order?

      • The cview tracking site is a mystery and gives misleading info. Try calling 1300 362 194, this is the DHL sister/subsidiary company.

I was fed a variety of excuses yesterday, called again today they said they are investigating since yesterday and will get back to me, yet to hear anything useful though.

Also emailed Sony, they said 3-4 business days is normal to Brisbane, cross fingers it turns up by the weekend.

        • Looks like the cview tracking site was updated this morning with "Shipment into Facility", no idea what it means though.

        • @daza67:

looking hopeful now says "Out For Delivery"

        • @daza67: good luck, mines still in facility …
they supposed to call to arrange delivery

        • @fez: i just received sms, but they said for next week :(

        • @fez: Sony just cant get these TV's delivered well. The Sony eBay store uses Toll and they are also terrible.

I've ordered my 9300 from this deal two days ago and have no tracking information at all. I'm hoping I get it before Easter.

        • @daza67:

Even though, I ordered the TV ahead of you. still in transit. I asked sony online by chat yesterday and they answered, they are investigating this issue with DHL today. but don't get other answer again today. never recommended to buy sony online store at all.

        • @timbertron: Called Sony and they are looking in to it.

    • Yeh same
      Ordered last Sunday but nothing

Another guy at work got his yesterday but ordered in the week prior

I got an email saying "Unable to process my order". Not really sure what is happening and the code is expired now.

    • Hmmm, I'm currently trying to find out what's happened to my order (KD55X9300E). I ordered last Wednesday and have received two "processing your order" emails on Wednesday and Thursday last week but nothing else. They took the money out on Thursday. I called Sony support today and they are following up with logistics.

Did they send you any other emails or take your money?

      • I have ordered 55x9300e too. Payment was pending yesterday and removed from Paypal account today so i think they cancelled my order.
I gave them a call and explained, now I am waiting for a call/email back.
I think your delivery is on the way as they took money already.

        • Well its not on its way yet. Still waiting to hear back from them. Terrible customer support from Sony.

        • @timbertron: So I finally got an update with an email from Sony saying it's been shipped. I click on the link and it takes me to DHL site but says there is no item with that number.
Then I get an email from Sony support saying that they are trying to get in touch with DHL but they aren't responding.
Seriously how hard can it be?!

        • @timbertron: So Sony actually sent the TV via TNT. A TNT person called me Thursday and asked if they could hold off on delivery because they are so busy, I said that's fine and he booked in Tuesday. Then they didn't deliver it Tuesday. So much incompetence.

  • I received the TV today. I ordered 15th Mar, was notified pick it up on 16th Mar. I asked Sony by email and chat 3 times. I was notified "Out for delivery" today.
