      Hi jv.
Unfortunately we can't reveal the producer but I can say that JustWines Sells the 2011 vintage of this wine for $816/dozen.
      Thank you.

oh noes, JV isn't going to be too impressed with that response!

      • so, maybe OP is referring to the earlier vintage of:
Dominic Versace Limited Release Shiraz 2011 Adelaide Plains - 12 Pack
        https://justwines.com.au/dominic-versace-limited-release-shi…

Googling (for a few minutes) indicates that Dominic Versace wines seems to have made a very nice sparkling shiraz that received an award or two.

(interestingly enough, there is also a Realestate listing for the property/cellardoor)

I had a look on the Dan Murphy's website and the wine doesn't exist so I'm clueless if this is a deal.

Only Dozen wines on justwines for $816.00 is this 2011 Dominic Versace Limited Release Shiraz

    https://justwines.com.au/dominic-versace-limited-release-shi…

  • the only wine that sells $816 for dozen in just wines is this one here

    https://justwines.com.au/dominic-versace-limited-release-shi…

Similar description as the OP: Just that the year is wrong

This opulent and plush wine shows characters of blackberry, mulberry, chocolate, dried figs and dates. Suggested food pairings include goat, boar, mutton and steak.

    If it's this wine 100% for $204/dozen I'm happy to buy :)

      Thank you Homr.
I can't admit or deny it but it seems like you are are on the right track.

      • You don't need to admit or deny anything. Just fix the title to match the correct year of the wine that you're selling and I'm sure we can all read between the lines…..

        • But I have the right Year Homr.
It's the 2012 Vintage we are selling.

        • They haven't said its that wine, or even the same vineyard. Only the same producer

        • @Geoff897: Yeh I know that's why I'm not buying.

        • That's fine Homr.
We will have this wine available for tasting from Wednesday the 21st until Thursday the 29th as part of our Easter Sale: https://goo.gl/kg15MX.

I can understand paying $10 per bottle for a secret wine but over $30 is a real risk.

    • Carleast. At $204/dozen it comes to $17/bottle

      • Lol, yeah, that was bad maths from a statistician! Either way, it's more than I'd pay for a secret bottle.

        • That's fine Carleast.

Also for sale, the entire winery. Not sure if a deal or not

  • I would stick with redknot i guess.

  • Are these cleanskins or labelled bottles?

Deal is expired now, But I bit the bullet and got a case.
As above, 2012 dominic versace shiraz. Had the first bottle last night, not too shabby, especially for the price. pepper notes and oak on the nose, lightly earthy pallet but opens up nicely.

    Pretty happy with the outcome!
