    I think jv's comment is very valid - in the hot Australian sun that black plastic bowl looks like it would be a little chemical factory, leaching out BPA and other toxic substances from the plastic into the water that our precious furry friends will drink from.

    I will stick to a stainless steel bowl, thanks.

      Amen to that! NOTHING but stainless steel for me! I also wash them up about five times before first use

      I don't mess around with my pets!

  Our GSD keeps playing with this plastic water bowl but we swapped to stainless steel with a rubber bottom and he behaves. We use the plastic bowl for food though and take it away from him once he has done eating.

  WARNING: They've marked down alot of pet items in the stores. Don't fall into the trap. Check ebay first guys :) Even Aussie sellers are still generally cheaper.
