    Does this work in Russia?

  • What's the go when calling home to Australia with these SIMs?

    • Unfortunately your included minutes and text allowance does not allow you to call back to Australia.

However, you are all sweet to use as much data for VoIP services :)

      • Amanda
  • I'm an idiot. I just ordered 4 of these but used the old code for 35% off, not the 40% off an hour ago.

I have emailed you Amanda to see if you can refund the discount.

Sorry I've made a mistake, and thanks in advance

    Thank you

    • Hi there

This has all been sorted not to worry :)

  • Hi OP
Do you have sims that will do Europe as well as south east Asia (Thailand and Cambodia)

    Thanks

    • Hi there

We do have Thai Sim cards available but they will be restocked in the next two weeks

  • Also, what is the validity of the three aio SIM card after it has been activated? Does the data expire after 30 days?

  • Is Norway and Iceland included?

    • Absolutely! :)

  • Thanks. Bought one for my upcoming trip to Italy in May

    • Thank you so much ! Also we really appreciate the upvote

  • Any sims for China?

    • Talking to China Unicom as we speak :)

  • Can we have something for russia?

    • Soon, we will be releasing one for Russia.

      • Fantastic. PM me when you have something. Hoping it can be focused on data rather than a high calls allowance

  • Does EE or 3 have better coverage over the other in Europe?

I'm heading to Italy / Croatia / Greece and cant seem to find a comprehensive coverage map online for either provider.

    • +1

3 is a budget carrier compared to someone like Vodafone in Europe. So when roaming they'll likely have a cheaper roaming contract/priority. That being said, it's still enough to get you by 99% of the time. I've had someone tell me it was totally fine when they went late last year. Especially considering most places will have wifi for when you're not out and about during the day/night.

    • I went to the countries you mentioned. I used EE and it has great 4G coverage.

    • Hi there

EE is essentially the "Telstra" of the UK. They are the biggest carrier their and their partnerships with the roaming partners allow their Sims cards to have excellent coverage all across Europe. Our customers get 4G speeds about 80% of the time (varies on location and destination) the EE SIM is guaranteed to give you 4G speeds all across Europe.

  • How does EE compare to Vodafone in Europe?

    • EE is by far the best when it comes to Europe. There is limited stock for the EE SIM because getting them overseas is difficult.

Vodafone is essentially three at the end of the day.

  • any options for China/HK?

    • +1

Our three AIO SIM cards cover HK but not mainland China unfortunately :(

  • Wow! So many questions here and so little feedback from the OP. :(

    • Hi there

Rest assured we are definitely responding to requests. We are really packed with orders and are responding to customers as fast as possible.

      Sorry again ozbargainer :)

  • If I get the 3 AIO 15,

Can I use it in UK/Europe and US as well? I got a RTW trip on Oct-Nov

    • You sure can, however, just to let you know the three AIO 15 has average 3G coverage in the USA. I would recommend purchasing a US SIM card when you hit America and use the Europe SIM for your stay in Europe :)

  • any sims for asia?

missus going to japan and i'll be going to korea & philippines.

    • Phillipines is a bit hard to get but we're working on it, Japan Sims will become available soon.

  • Hi just want to confirm if the Three sim card works in Bali (Indonesia)? Is this SIM card come with UK number?
Do I get 4G speed there?

    • This will be a UK Number. According to the Original Post you can use this in Indo.

    • You will receive a UK Number and the speeds in Indonesia are 3G to 3.5G you will not get 4g speeds but you will definitely have data available for everything else :)

  • Hi,

I just purchased the internet with Legs for my travels in July.

    Thanks
    Paul

    • Thank you so much Paul and honestly really appreciate the upvote !

  • Hi,

so if I purchase the "three - all in one 12gb - so easy international bundle plan" then if I activate the sim card in Australia, would I still be able to use the sim card in England, Wales and France? Also, would I be able to hotspot the internet for friends?

    • Hi there.

You can certainly activate the SIM in Australia and switch data roaming "On" once you start surfing the web your bundle activates and you will then be able to use your bundle allowance in Europe :)

  • Did some research and Three seems a good fit for roaming in Europe. Went ahead and bought 2 x 12GB Three and 1 x 5GB Data from EE.

    • Nice combo, you will definitely love the EE SIM card

  • victorwilson - did you hotspot in UK or other European country? Three say the SIM cannot hotspot in other EU countries.

    • You can most definitely hotspot in all feel at home destinations with that SIM card. We have had many customers use the SIM at the feel at home destinations. You just have to switch data roaming to On and the data will work in all those countries.

  • For reference, I recently bought an EE SIM in London for GBP 35 (63 AUD) that included 16GB, 3000min, and 3000 SMS for roaming in EU. I was quite happy with the coverage and the inclusions were more than enough for my usage (mostly maps and local calls) over 3 weeks.

I also used my phone as a hotspot for other devices.

    • Out of interest, did EE have any smaller data plans (6-10gb) or longer validity plans (like the 3 internet with legs 12months)?

      • +1

Basically they offer 'packs' starting from £5 up to £30 in £5 increments. I had a £30 pack, but you could for example get a £20 pack with 4GB and 3000min.

All packs have 30 day expiry but that was enough for me.

I can't tell you if there is a longer expiry option, sorry.

    • Hi haritone, the difference here is that you have the advantage of picking up the SIM card and landing in ANY other European nation without having to visit the UK first.

That's why it's extremely good for value.

      • Hi mate, I wasn't trying to discredit your offer at all - if anything I think it highlighted the value of your offer(s).

I agree that having everything sorted before you even leave home is a big plus.

  • Hi OP, how fast is your delivery? I can see some other posts that suggest their orders with you have taken a while to arrive (if at all). I'm travelling in around 4 weeks, with postage to Brisbane metro would I be guaranteed that my SIM arrives before I leave?

    • Hi there,

We have only around 25 customers on back orders as stock is extremely limited and reserved for customers travelling within the month. We will be restocking this Friday :) so you will definitely receive it before then.

      • I placed an order this morning, and paid for express shipping, assuming they were in stock. I leave on next monday the 9th, will i receive my sim in time? I am in a capital city. Thanks Adam.

        • Hi there not to worry all express post ordered will be shipped by tomorrow.

      • Thanks OP.

I'm attempting to purchase the EE card, but the EASTER40 code is being rejected: "Your cart does not meet the requirements for the EASTER40 discount code"

        Can you please advise?

  • Hello,

Can you confirm the main difference between Three AIO 20 and Internet with legs is the ability to tether?

Travelling to Greek islands, Italy via Hong Kong. Will both of these sim cards work there?

Lastly, do we activate the sims before we leave Australia or when you arrive at the first supported country on the list of 71?

Edit. Where do you buy a recharge voucher, couldn't find it on your site?

    Cheers.

  • I was just checking out SIMs for Europe for the boy at lunch today. TravelSIM charges 25c/meg (so $1250 for 5GB).

  • Hi all,

Going to Europe in Jul-Aug for about 6 weeks. Countries will be Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia & Italy (some of these countries are non EU).The device will be an Iphone 6.
Can you recommend which of these SIM cards would be suitable?
    Thanks

  • I have used the Three 12GB PAYG data sims in the past and activated them before leaving Oz with no issues. However I now read in the terms and conditions that you need to activate the PAYG SIM's in the UK first?
Feel At Home works automatically when you arrive in a Feel At Home destination. If you’re a Pay As You Go customer, you’ll need to have activated your SIM and made a chargeable event such as making a call, sending a text or getting online, in the UK first. Make sure data roaming is switched on in your device's settings. http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=roaming,varset_subcat=4157,Case=Ext(EM38751)

    • Also since the EU roaming changes last year the Three 12GB PAYG Data sim is only good for 9GB when roaming outside of the UK. It also last 2 months and not 12 when roaming but can be reset if visiting UK. The reason for these restrictions is these SIMS are supposed to be only for UK citizens travelling abroad. http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=internetapps,varset_subcat=3583,Case=obj(3833)

Can post multiple deals but not reply to emails? Idk fam, bit dodgy.

    • Hi there. I am so sorry if we have missed your email we have been quite packed with orders.

      • I appreciate there would be a lot of orders + Easter long weekend recently, but I still wish to outline the discrepancy between pre and post sale communication.

  • +1

great deal, but i refuse to deal with companies that use dodgy tactics like "pressure cooker" to display fake quantity remaining and fake sales notifications.

    • -1

Hi, one of the biggest ecommerce companies use any tactic to drive sales, at the end of the day, we still provide ozbargainer with a lot of value.

  • Is Serbia covered with the European SIM?

    • Hi there

Unfortunately Serbia is not covered in the feel at home destinations :(

  • Just ordered 2x Internet with Legs for my Europe trip in July!

    Cheers OP!

    • +2

Thank you so much for that highly appreciated :)

  • Also can I use the "three - all in one 12gb - so easy international bundle plan" in England, Wales and Scotland? And when does this offer ends? ANd is it correct that I can activate the sim in Australia and for the sim to still work across many different countries I travel? And is it possible to tether the data in England, Wales, Scotland or France? And is this a prepaid sim (so it does not auto pay if I reach the limit)?

    Thanks,
    Joey

  • I've ordered 3 of the "Three AIO 20" SIM cards this morning. How long will it take for my order to be dispatched? Thanks

    • I've sent an email yesterday morning in regards to the dispatch of the 3 SIM cards, awaiting reply.

  • +1

Your cart does not meet the requirements for the EASTER40 discount code

Error message when I tried to order internet with legs with code

    • Same. How can we fix this?

edit: tried for the data roaming sim, and Three AIO, no luck

    • I'm also getting the same error message.

    • Same here.

    • SORRY OZBARGAINERS: CODE IS NOW WORKING!

ERROR MESSAGE IS NOW RESOLVED APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY OUR SERVER HAS BEEN CRASHING BECAUSE DEMAND IS SO HIGH

  • I’m getting error

    • SORRY OZBARGAINERS: CODE IS NOW WORKING!

ERROR MESSAGE IS NOW RESOLVED APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY OUR SERVER HAS BEEN CRASHING BECAUSE DEMAND IS SO HIGH

  • The Three AIO 20 mentions 3000 minutes of calls on the description but on the the picture of the sim packaging it says 300 minutes , so is there an error here and which is correct?

  • SORRY OZBARGAINERS: CODE IS NOW WORKING!

ERROR MESSAGE IS NOW RESOLVED APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY OUR SERVER HAS BEEN CRASHING BECAUSE DEMAND IS SO HIGH

  • There seems to be a discrepancy in the offer posted above and on the website.

    OP has stated :
    Three AIO 20 // RRP: $59.95 // Discounted Price: $35.97 (Shipped)
    what it comes with:
    - 12GB of 3.5G to 4G LTE data for use within 71 destinations
    - 3000 minutes calls (uk + europe numbers only)
    - 3000 texts (uk + europe numbers only)
    - manufactured in a triple cut sim that fits all phones. (3g and 4g devices only)

However the product description on the so easy travel website states only 300 minutes are included - NOT 3000

Please rectify and do not mislead customers.

    • Hi there our sincerest apologies.

It is simply an older stock photo. I will go ahead and update the image tomorrow morning.

      Thank you for the feedback

  • Hi,
Is Switzerland included in these deals? May seem a silly question but it isn't part of the European union.
    Thanks

    • Hi there

      Absolutely, it sure is !

  • Hi,

Does the EE - 4GEE 5GB uk & europe data roaming sim card come with a UK number?
I notice that it does not come with minutes for calling, correct me if i am wrong.
Plan to use it with my phone, and was wondering if this would be possible.
    Thanks

    • Hi there

Absolutely! The mobile number for your EE SIM card is at the back of the SIM pack.

You can definitely receive calls and texts and if you load up with credit you will be able to purchase add ons to make calls and texts within the EU.

  • I bought THREE IWL12GB Data SIM for Colombia and Peru usage - I need it for different times but mentioned departure date as 1/5/2018, is this still ok?

    • Absolutely ! Remainder three internet with legs stock will come in Monday morning next week :). They activate the moment you insert the SIM into your device.

  • Hi all,

Going to Europe in Jul-Aug for about 6 weeks. Countries will be Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia & Italy (some of these countries are non EU).The device will be an Iphone 6.
Can you recommend which of these SIM cards would be suitable?
    Thanks

    • Hi there

The SIM cards pretty much cover all those destinations except Serbia and Macedonia

If you are using the SIM card for basic social media use then three 12Gb three all in one would be the perfect SIM card for you :) as the data offerings are generous and you will have plenty of calls and texts to make within the EU

  • Hi I bought Three Internet With Legs, but I read in another deal that Three AIO 20 also allow tethering.? Can you confirm that's the case. If that's the case, can I charge my order to that instead?

  • Purchased. Thanks.

Although AIO packs were 4 cents more expensive than advertised!

  • Bought a Europe Sim yesterday and have decided to get another but the code (EUROPE40) isn’t working although still showing as an active deal in OzBargain. Is this code still active?
    Thanks

  • Just been notified that code is EASTER40 not EUROPE40 - thanks. Still working.

  • Disappointed I got Schooled on this deal for use in May 2018: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/363446
Took a month to arrive too!

Note: Ozbargain current price is $29 for the same offer with different mob :(

  • Hi there,
    With this SIM card:

    Three AIO 20 // RRP: $59.95 // Discounted Price: $35.97 (Shipped)
    what it comes with:
    - 12GB of 3.5G to 4G LTE data for use within 71 destinations
    - 3000 minutes calls (uk + europe numbers only)
    - 3000 texts (uk + europe numbers only)
    - manufactured in a triple cut sim that fits all phones. (3g and 4g devices only)

Am I to understand that I won't be able to call Australian numbers with this card?
    Thanks

  • Rep gone missing and no shipping. I might have to open a PayPal dispute

  • Hi there,

Can anyone tell me why you would go with the EE 5GB over the Three 12GB pack, as Three obviously offers more value for money.

Do they both cover true same countries in europe?
Is it better in other ways? And if so, is there a plan with more data available with EE?

    TIA

  • I have not received the order that I placed. Anyone received the sim cards?
How long should I wait for before opening a case with Paypal?

    Please advise.
    Thanks

    • IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM SO EASY TRAVEL: Hi Ozbargainers it's Rabi - I'm the Managing director of So Easy Travel - and I thought It would be wise to personally update the community and all customers who purchased from this deal and provide them with complete transparency on the events that happened during this sale, rather than letting Amanda deal with negative responses from the community.

Firstly, I would like to graciously thank the whole community for the tremendous response from the recent offer we did for our Europe SIM Collection, probably one of our best ozbargain posts to date, if it wasn't for the patience and feedback the community and all our customers provided us during our whole year of providing deals to the OZB community I can honestly say we would not be where we are today.

When we released this sale we didn't anticipate how high the sales volume would be - as such within a span of literally 8 hours we had sold all our available stock from the post - literally, over 600 customers served within a span of 8 hours. We Shipped our Fist batch of SIM cards the following morning to all customers who were departing earlier and we were expecting new stock to arrive on the 5th of April. I then get a call from Fed Ex on the 4th of April informing us that our SIM cards were redirected to the United Kingdom (after already leaving the UK and arriving in Dubai)

They then told me that I should expect the stock on the 11th April. The 11th of April Arrives and I've only received 1 package out of a 2 piece shipment, I became furious and contacted fed ex and they informed me that the 2nd Package will be leaving the UK that night and will arrive on the 16th of April (monday morning).

I Then told Amanda to Update ALL customers who were departing on later dates that we will be receiving the stock on the 16th and that all orders will be fulfilled on the 16th. However, Some customer did not receive our email update and a lot of customers, as I Understand the OZB community is frustrated with the delay in receiving their SIMS. I just wanted to reassure all community members and customers that we will be sending out all the remaining orders tomorrow afternoon (16th of April)

On Behalf of everyone at So Easy Travel I would like to sincerely apologise for the delay some customers have experienced and personally apologise to the 13 customers we had to refund because we could not get a SIM Card to them in time for their trip, As I explained, this situation was completely out of our control and we honestly would have honoured our advertised shipping times.

We will continously provide travel SIM card deals to the ozb community. Because it is honestly the positive responses from using our service that keeps us going, we're a group of travellers and understand the needs of travellers extremely well, as such I understand that we are offering tremendous value to the OZB community and other travellers by providing travel SIMs before you depart - and we intend on increasing our company size very soon in order to improve our services even more.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I just want to reassure you, if you have contacted our customer support team, they will get back into contact with you within 24hours (excluding Sunday) So expect to see a couple of emails replied to by Sarah and Amanda tomorrow midday.

Again, thank you so much for your patience during this time, we honestly will not be where we are if it wasnt for you travel bugs out there.

      Best Regards

      Rabi

Same here - no word on my order - desperately trying to get in contact with them. My fresh faced 18yo is off to Europe on Thursday morning!

Anyone have a phone number for them?
