Hi all. You may remember me from the wdtv live fiasco at officeworks well I'm back. I managed to get officeworks to price match this altec Lansing boom box from 397 to 329 from an online offer with itdevice.com.au These are the best iPod speakers and if I were you I'd grab one asap

    Sorry all that was a post of my iphone so it was a bit brief.

    This Altec Lansing Device is 397 on sale at officeworks, 398 at HN, 499 at DS. While in store at Officeworks i checked myshopping.com.au and found it for 329 online price only in melbourne.

    I guarantee you under normal circumstances officeworks would NOT accept this price as its online only however the guy couldnt ring the company because it was shut today and gave me the benefit of the doubt and price matched it.

    Its an awesome system and is a great great price. The only thing that matches it is the Bose sounddock 10 @ 900$ +.

    This is my first post but i threw up a price match in the WDTV thread bringing it down to 79 dollars. What JB failed to put on the reciept was that it was a return. Then I took it to OW and got it cheaper and someone else got it for 73.

    Anyway Guys its a great system its pumping now. Go buy it this dock wont last forever

    I go to the one at dee why and always get the same guy. Hes a top guy and about 19 years old and loves price matching :)

    Well the postage to Sydney is 30 dollars or 100 express plus you get the convenience of being able to return and use cards and have the convenience of a local seller. Plus that's a clearance price I matched which may or may not be current

    u should of got this for $312.55,because the 5% discount was not applied. ow will match a cheaper price and also should the beat the price by 5%.

        You got them to price match an item not including delivery cost and this is where the OW employee stuffed up. Not only that, you will find many stores price beat policy exclude clearance products. I cant recall whether OW is one of these stores.

          I don't think OW adds shipping to price if the offer is from a local online store. May be the reason why shipping was not added.

          Yeah OW don't match clearance items, check their policy (I think they don't use the exact word clearance thought but same difference)

          If it's a local store with a shopfront that also sells online then delivery is not included. If it's an online only store delivery is included regardless of location.

      Give it a try mate. You got nothing to lose anyway and the worse case scenario is that they'll say no.
