Please Stay Away from E Go Courier

These clowns are a big rip off and a SCAM. I ordered furniture from ebay, the seller sent me the items through these clowns. I had also provided them with my phone number. I got an email on the delivery day that my item was out for delivery and they had authorization to leave my package at the door if no was available. Guess what, no delivery, no phone call, I get an email to pay extra for re-delivery as on one was available to collect the package. I paid extra , next day i get an email in the morning that payment has been received and they will deliver by close of business. Again nothing delivered.
I have lost 2 days of salary waiting for the package. They have no phone number and their online tracking is fake, mostly manually updated as per their wish. Just like every one mentions below …stay way they are a plague.

This is not typical of their service. We have used them (exclusively) for business for over 5 years now. We send an average of 5 items a week and have only ever had a problem with ONE shipment.

Yep, used them twice with fragile speakers through interstate, perfect.

OP's problem is stuffing around with authorised drop-off.

      • But they were authorised to leave it, how is that OP's fault? And he was home too.

There is a flaw with OP's complaint, specifically E-Go only operate on an ATL basis for the shipments. That is, the shipper gives E-Go ATL in all cases, so there is no reason they would not have left the shipment.
The delivery driver is also required to either obtain a signature for the package, or record where the item has been left.
All this information is available to the recipient via their online tracking.
I sense there is more to OP's gripe that is not being told.

  • Always do depot to depot and you can go pick up when you want.

  • I have had a few items delivered by ego. Never had an issue with them.

I dont think e-go is the problem, its more than likely the delivery driver, you should contact the seller, and tell them what has happened, as they are egos customer, and not you. Also if a delivery company tries to charge you, who isnt their actual customer any money, always refuse, you are not obligated to pay a cent if its a domestic delivery. Redelivery should be charged to the sender.
