  I really want to make a purchase but the damn seller is charging $300 for posting an item that shouldn't cost more than $80 even with express shipping and insurance. This is obviously done to cover ebay fees. Contacted the seller and they said I can come over to their store and they can give a 5% discount if i purchase directly form them :-/

  Computer went into a complete meltdown and slowed to a …c…r…a…w…l… accessing ebay in the closing minutes, missed out on a purchase. Oh well, guess I'll wait for the next 10% off, gotta be only a week away right?

      Why the crawl? I guess because all my clicks and keystrokes are being sent to ebay, then echoed back to my browser. I assume their servers were getting hammered by everyone trying to make a last minute purchase like me, so their overload made my browsing experience almost unusable. Other stuff running in the background on my machine seemed as responsive as normal, so I assume it was confined to ebay.

      Why wait for another 10% discount? This is OzBargain after all! Why do I think it is only a week away? These 10% off deals are coming thick and fast, almost a weekly or daily occurrence. I should be saving up for EOFY sales which aren't too far away.

        The occurrence of 10% off voucher is a pig on lsd, don't know when it going. Do hope there would be another next week but more likely to be late May.

  Was too short…didn't get anything in time.

  Are they experimenting with ROI for 3 days with cap at $100 vs ROI 4 hrs cap at $300 or chasing last year's results?

  The GST import taxes in July will hit eBay massively…expect more offers before that.

    Search for the Ozbargain posted deals for this time last year. Tho, from memory, there was a bit of a discount drought building up to the end of the financial year sales.
