      And DRM free on GOG

      • Steam is also a free DRM. >.>

    • Can't seem to add to library like other steam games. Same happening to you?

      • It is there. Just invisible as other free to play games. Not sure why that is but maybe because they are always free to play rather than only now free to play.

    • it's not "Free to Play", it's "free". F2P means Microtransactions whereas this is completely free in monetary terms and from DRM

      • You're thinking of "Freemium"

      • The game is free and I play it. So it is free to play. I take words literally. Just because you interpret this as meaning that it includes microtransactions does not mean that this is what everybody understands.

When games are made available to play for a certain period of time (say, a ling weekend), it is also normal to see: "Free to play - Supergame - from 1 May to 10 May 2019" and that includes games that do not have microtransactions.

But anyway, if you want to fight semantics, no problem - you will have to do it alone though as I got better things to do.

The crux of the matter is that the game was and it seems always has been free to play on Steam and hence should be in the forum - which as I notice is what happened.

        • Just going by the wiki definition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free-to-play

          Steam says "Free" - https://store.steampowered.com/app/313730/Sunrider_Mask_of_A…

For comparison, TF2 on Steam says "Free to Play" - https://store.steampowered.com/app/440/Team_Fortress_2/

It is a huge difference, Free means that they are giving you the full game, no bull. Free to Play means that the base game is free but they will try to extract money out of you somehow.

        • @The Land of Smeg:

          Wikipedia definition. LOL.

Look at the Steam page for the game.

Then look at the genre descriptors on the right:

Genre: Free to Play, Indie, RPG, Strategy

          Case closed.

        • @Lysander: haha made you respond

        • @The Land of Smeg:

Maybe, you should do something more productive with your time. I am happy to share some of the pro bono and volunteering work around and pass it your way.

        • @Lysander: What kind of volunteering work do you do?

        • @The Land of Smeg:

          Various.

Weekends: cooking for the poor and homeless
Weekdays: assisting elderly and technologically unaware people with things like mobile phones, unlocking phones, provider issues
Weekdays: Pro bono work (legal): various issues such as Centrelink issues, immigration issues, restraint orders, assisting victims of crime etc.
Every day: Lobbying politicians of all creeds and parties to change laws for the benefit of the people such as compensation and consumer laws

So, instead of being rich after all the legal studying I have chosen the moral pathway, being poor and assisting the community, especially those that are vulnerable and helpless, and I am getting very, very frustrated with the lack of support in this country for anything other than criminal or child maintenance things.
Despite my training etc. it is impossible even for me to get any straight answer out of a Magistrate Court for something that is procedural and they really should know that.

Given the above, maybe it is a bit more understandable why on occasions, when people play very dumb here or are too lazy to do anything themselves (such as Googling or looking up a game on Steam), I am not very impressed with the attitude if you get my gist.

        • @Lysander: Keep up the good work. I can emphasise with all that. I do a little bit bit in trying to get voters to take politics more seriously rather than buying into all the bullcrap moral outrage stories which serves to distract us from the real issues, but unfortunately I don't have time to take on more at the moment.

        • @The Land of Smeg:

Thanks. That is good to know and I will try to keep it up.
At some point, when I have drummed up more support and volunteers and established those things so they can run on their own, the plan is to sit back a bit more and build up a bit more for the future with my partner.

  • lol decensor patch? whats that about?
