    Becareful this is 220V AC, not 220-240 AC

    I used multiple 220V hair dryer that bought from oversea before, it works but it will be hotter. It either get overheat and stop for awhile (Braun) or melt the nozzle (panasonic) that make it will fall out easily.

      Different voltage won't make it overheat, and we don't have 240v.

        We have 230v.

        Depends on how smart the appliance is, if it simply draw the same current regardless of voltage, it will run hotter.

        I am just speak from experience, ymmv
