In a recent post on his blog, Bill Gates stated that Big History is his "favorite course of all time". Big History is created by historian David Christian.
I can really recommend this course for everyone. Also variations of this on the History Channel, the Great Courses (Big History is Bill Gates' favourite course), Curiosity Stream, etc.
