Costco and Sony WH-1000XM2 headhpones - are they still stocked?

Hi everyone, just wondering before I go all the way into Costco to check if these headphones are still being sold and for what price?

I'm in Vic, and would go Docklands if that makes a difference

Thanks

    have you tried calling them?

they would only answer stock questions to costco memebers when i tried calling last year (wanted my memeber number before they would say if they had item in stock. I was prepared to buy a membership if they did, but they would not divulge if it was in stock if I was not a member.

didn't think of calling them, i'll do that, thanks

  • Haven’t seen them at the Costco stores in Melbourne.

  • so they don't have them at the moment, but they are listed to be restocked in the near future

    • Any word on when that restock will come through, and the price they'll be selling 'em for?

I suspect like last time there will only be a few when re stocked. Given Ozbargsiners love for them they won't last once posted up on this forum. If you can get it below $300 its a really good price. Must be some sales coming up as getting into EFY.

        • I've been hoping for them to come back at a good price after missing a bunch of sales earlier in the year, but also have a long flight next weekend so kinda running out of time - tempted to just order a model down from a local place at this stage.

@KaraiPantsu: I couldn't get much info out of them other than it is listed to be restocked in their warehouse in the near future. I'm in a similar boat to you, I just ordered through Sony Amazon, cost me ~$380 for next day delivery. Ordered at around 4pm yesterday, it arrived at 11:00am today.

Was hoping to find a price closer to $300, however looking through the previous ozbargain posts for this model, most seem to be around the mid-high $300 mark with the previous Costco sale exception and some refurbish deals through Sony Ebay. So I figure that $380, while it isn't great, isn't bad compared to JB Hi-Fi selling it for $499…

        • @rippir: incidentally, whilst I've secured a pair, I do need to buy another for the wife; the need is less urgent, so still on the lookout for the next <$300 deal
