70

I just saw this offer on RebTel.
I could not find in Ozbargain search tab. No recent post about rebetel.
RebTel is offering unlimited calls to US at free. Unlimited calls to India at A$10/month and worldwide (56 countries including India) at A$12/month- Just pay A$2 extra and you will get worldwide (of course, If you want) ( Works on wifi/mobile data/phone line)
If you go to their website, you will find worldwide subscription at A$15/month. But if you go through link submitted, it is A$12/month.
I felt this is cheaper when compared with other local/VoIP retailers.
I can mix with catch connect deal for A$1 so that, at A$13 unlimited calls to worldwide. Thanks to Wilburre. You can check here (https://www.rebtel.com/en/campaign/global/?pid=8653) whether your country is listed here or not.

Enjoy guys. KEEP CALLING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Would it be better to get the belong $10 sim + $5 intl. calls?

  • Calls to US are anyway free with Google Hangouts (Dialer)

    • How can I get a hold of this Google Hangout?

      • I presume it's an app…?

I might ring India every day and tell them they owe the tax office money! Great deal!

    • You might have more success letting them know that their computer is reporting that it has a virus to the real Microsoft company

  • So, does RebTel let user ring Australian phone numbers?

And… for those on a World (or an all-phones, everywhere
    - whatever it maybe called) plan, which countries' Mobile
phones can be rung, untimed, using that plan?

PS So, can RebTel give [World-calling] phone service to a
phone -without- SIM installed? (A bit like Skype eg, on a
World subscription <=No longer available fr Skype, AFAIK)

    BTW:

It seems this service &/or app comes from the same land
    as Skype did: Sweden.

  • So does this have any unlimited local national and standard and mobile landline and special number calls.. or just international calls to india or US or worldwide

    • Because I cannot edit my comment I will use the reply button to add more information.

Seems the Global Worldwide $15/month has unlimited mobile and landline calls to Australia and India and some other countries but no data I repeat zero data. Also no unlimited calls to special numbers and from what their support told me no numbers that have switchboards? so i am assuming he means phone numbers that redirect you to a certain extension or number using automated robot scripts? in which case that is no good if you need to call say a large company for tech or help support for example your bank or in my case westpac and paypal among other call centres.
