This is actually a ripper if to get the 65000 points you only have 1 purchase instead of the usual $2500k. Or am I missing something?

Annual fee. Previously waved for first year..

  • No minimum spend puts it above others with similar offers with an Annual Fee. The Qantas Premier Everyday card has $0 fee for first year and 40,000 bonus points on min spend of $2000 for each of the first 2 months. Depends on your individual preferences and how you value the points.

  • or have closed, or qualified for bonus Qantas Points or a credit back on, any of those ANZ Frequent Flyer credit cards within the previous 12 months

Last years offer was better - no fee though there was a spend amount (just closed my CC off a few weeks ago = so'll have to wait til next year for this bank)

  • Oh damn, I was one month away from being eligible again for the card, but now all the cards have annual fees!

    • Sometimes with BankSA\St George\Bank of Melbourne, if you save the application prior to completing it, they will in a reminder email they send to you offer to waive the fee if you go through the email to complete the application. The promo they're running at the moment is 50000 points after $2000 spend in 90 days on the Amplify Platinum, and even if you do have to pay the annual fee it's only $99 which is one of the lower end fees for a platinum Qantas card.
