If I were to buy a phone today around that budget I would make sure it had 8gb of ram at least.
The rest of the specs are great but 4gb ram is on the low end now especially for above $600 AUD.
The Mate series is really good but if you don't care too much about camera quality Xiaomi is where it's at for best price to performance.
8GB RAM? Which phones have that? Most "pro" variants come with 6GB now
There are some very specific high end and gaming models now with 8gb of ram now.
6gb ram is slowly becoming the pro or premium standard while 4gb becomes the basic norm.
