    Being able to use CASHREWARDS WISH gift cards to purchase
    $2100 worth of EBAY gift cards in store.
    Which gives me 21 x Ebay gift cards

    To then be able to use all 21 cards on checkout of a TV at value of $2100.

        That will be risky tbh,
        $2500 is Max giftcard redemptions on ebay per day.

        Wish cards can take 24h give or take. Often longer when eBay's sales are on!!

        If you were able to get them you would need to find the stock from multiple woolies (while everyone on ozbargain are also looking for bulk ebay cards)

        Then hope the attendant will let you use Gift cards to buy Giftcards and at that volume.

        If all things align, You will save $105, Risk is upto you ;)

      You can only redeem 8 "codes" per transaction, according to an eBay rep I talked to today. So the PROXY code takes up one code, meaning you can redeem 7 $100 gift cards on a single transaction.

      That's what I gathered from talking to ebay anyway. Initially they said that no gift cards can be redeemed during this promotion, so they could be wrong again.

      I have bought my tv, several laptops and other miscellaneous stuff from them. Have found returns are pretty easy with them (usually returned within the month) and they are good to deal with. Most of the stuff I have dealt with is refurbished though.

    Do Kong Computers historically pricejack? Current prices on ebay are quite a bit more then their store but the 25% still makes for some bargins. e.g the MSI GS73 Steal (1060) will comes to around $2400 if it stays at its current price of $3209

    edit - Seems I was looking at the 17inch mode, the G65 is $2977 on ebay currently so $2233 is a bargain if it stays at that price

        The only thing of importance is the final price. Sure it's devious, but you're not getting conned as we all know it goes on, and in the end you're getting a better price than normal. They wouldn't offer 25% off if price jacking was policed.

        You can take screenshots and submit them to the ACCC website. They took action against Kogan in 2016 and finded the 30k odd. Hp got fined $3 million for misleading customers a few years ago.

        The problem is no one reports it, and others, like Janko below condone it and don't care because they are "knowledgeable". Problem is that doesn't help your grandmother or others who are not informed and actually think they are saving. The problem with anarchy is not just that know one knows what laws are OK to break or not, but that it is, well anarchy.
