At least this deal is legit.

Unlike that so called 1TB T5 deal from Kogan through Amazon AU. It was no deal at all. But i suppose at least they got $20 vouchers out of it.

Free money are the best deals.

      • it's hard to spend $20 credit on Kogan with their shipping prices. I have had $20 credit applied twice and expired without use.

          12 months free Shipster.

        • @Scab:

Yes. Free shipping through Shipster makes it no excuse.

  • Does Prime give you free shipping from all Amazon US products? Does the price include the new GST?

    • From the links posted in description

      FREE Standard International Delivery
Get free delivery on eligible orders over $49 shipped from Amazon US
Refers to items shipped and sold by Amazon US via AU Marketplace (Under the Amazon.com.au domain)

Does the price include the new GST?

      no, because there isn't any

      • Isn't GST supposed to be charged on all imports after Jul 1? Amazon AU would have to pass on the GST wouldn't they?

        • I am just letting you know what price I am getting at checkout. what they do to pay GST, I have no idea.

        • Amazon global store prices already include GST within the displayed price, they were jacked by 10% on July 1.

Price is inclusive of GST. I am not an Amazon Prime member, but going through the purchase until the final confirmation step does allow you to see the detail split of the individual components of the order:

      Amazon Global Store Order Summary:

      Items $174.84
      Delivery $8.31
      Total before GST $183.15
      GST $18.31
      Order Total $201.46

      • Amazon AU Prime members would get free delivery

GST is included. Basically, instead of making changes to Amazon USA, Amazon AU simply make Amazon USA one of the sellers if you like as the Amazon AU system obviously has all the bells and whistles to support GST properly.
