Jetstar Terms and Conditions for Vouchers

Just wanted another person's opinion on this situation.

Jetstar previously delayed one of my flights and gave me a voucher. In the T&Cs the following is written:

(e) This Voucher is not transferable - it is redeemable only by the person whose name is stated on this Voucher for travel by that person or to make a new booking for others to travel (if a booking is made for others to travel, the person named on this Voucher must be listed as the contact in the booking).

However in one of the above points (not under T&Cs) it has the following:
-The person named on this Voucher must be a passenger travelling on the booking.

Which of the following should be accepted?

Jetstar are refusing to accept the one written in the T&Cs and are not allowing me to use the voucher for a family member to travel.

Cheers

Jetstar are refusing to accept the one written in the T&Cs

Pretty sure you just got your answer…

If anyone here said something different, what would you tell Jetstar? "Someone on the internet said you have to allow it!"

  • "Someone on the internet said you have to allow it!"

I believe the correct phrase for success would be "Spackbace on ozbargain said you have to allow it!"

  • So did you list yourself as the contact in the booking?
