Another free month of Amazon Prime?

I used my free month on Amazon Prime when it first went live and then cancelled it before the end of the trial period.
A couple of days ago I pre-ordered Spiderman on PS4 from Amazon and at checkout it asked if I would like to 'Try' Amazon Prime to get the included expedient shipping, considering it was going to be less than expedient shipping without it (and I would like the game on day 1) I decided to click the option.
Since then I have not been charged for the subscription.
Post is really just an FYI or perhaps a question..
This might be a loophole to get another free month, or it might be that I get charged for the month when my pre-order gets shipped, any ideas or thoughts?

  • Interesting, I just cancelled my trial. I would say it's a loophole that will be eventually fixed, but I don't mind having another month or two of free Prime! I don't see much use to it in Australia, at least until staples such detergent, TP and some foods become cheap on Amazon.
