Most notable on this sale is the really good price for the Ultrasharp U2518D which is the latest 25inch 1440p monitor with infinity edge display. Arguable one of the best all round displays at $454.3. Dual monitors set-up is probably still preferred for productivity and gaming is still ok on one screen.

Other monitors are also on sale. I ended up getting a pair of the 4K Ultrasharp U2718Q myself for $671.328 after 4% Cashrewards cashback even though there have been a better deal previously (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/368610) for single monitor purchase

Buy 2 get 30% of code is also applicable to some PremierColour models for design and graphic users; 34" Ultrawide models for the screen real estate extremists and 38" Ultrawide models for the lol's

These would have paired really well with the Loctek dual arms D7D or D7DR but Amazon Australia has inflated the price in comparison to their US site which put me off. Please suggest a dual arms mount if you have good experience with some quality stuff.

Make sure you go through Cashrewards for 4% cash back

  • I love that 1440p resolution in 23.8" or 25" … Just right to set at the native resolution.

    • They look great. Yes a little small for text and web but it looks fantastic when you scale 125% up. Definitely better than 1080p. I got the 27inch in 4k res for similar reasons.

  • The Kogan monitor arms are good. However only have a single

2x U2412M for $568 is a pretty good deal too.

    • good pick up! 1920 x 1200 is great with IPS panel and full height tilt swivel adjustment too.

  • Tempted to buy that 4k panel. I have the U2717D that I bought from the outlet and I really like it.

Question for ozbargainers: what other brands would you look to for high quality displays? I know Dell use Samsung panels…are they equally as good?

    • yeah those outlet deals are amazing value just have to keep waiting and waiting and waiting for it though, real OZB style. If you can get someone to join and get a couple of the U2717D it's pretty good value at under $600 too.
I have the Samsung UE590D currently. Down side is its TN panel has bad viewing angle and colour and the flickering tires your eyes out after long hours. If you are going to stare at the screen for more than 6 hours a day it is really bad and you can feel it and make sure you get a flicker-free monitor instead. Upside is that it was and is still a good value 4K monitor and if you play games on them the 1ms is almost unbeatable.
I think most of the prominent brands have their more premium line up with good overall quality. It really depends on what you are after. For example, the U2717D, based on most technical reviews have better flicker-free characteristics than the U2718Q. I just hope that it is not that noticeable.

Thanks OP, grabbed 2x U2717D's that I've been eyeing for some time now.

    • Fantastic congrats hopefully they will keep you happy for years. They worked out better than the current 20% ebay off I almost bought from futu online.

      • Yeah, the only time I've seen them cheaper was on the eBay Plus 25% off - but only just. The 'straight from Dell' is worth the extra couple of bucks though I think.

  • Interested if anyone could recommend a good dual screen arm mount!

  • Anyone would like to share one of U2717D? I only need 1, have been eyeing this monitor for long

I was in the same boat. I wanted 2xU2412Ms and 1xU2717D so thought I'd look for someone to share the second 27 with as the Dell rep would only apply the discount if buying in pairs. But it turns out that the U2412M's are $10 cheaper at umart, and the 2717D was only about $30 more at umart. So for about a $20 difference I didn't have to bother looking for someone else or have wait for Dell shipping. To be honest, I wanted them today, so $20 more was worth it just for that.

      • yeah sometimes you just need it today so the extra $20 is worth the 2 weeks headstart

      • If we buy from umart, does the onsite 3 years warranty come from Dell or umart?

I asked 1 seller before and the warranty is not the same as buy direct from dell.

        • I've heard you still get the Dell warranty but I don't think monitors come with onsite warranty?

        • @neikel: I bought 5 Dell laptops and 1 U2412 monitor (no issue) in the past few years and they came to my place or office. I wonder if it is the same with monitor. Do you know what is the warranty policy with umart?
