    No dad jokes

I ordered a chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

  • Thanks, I’ll order a set of those EP002’s today

  • Got these Bluetooth rx tx last time for $40 which are great.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/397060

Looking to get a second one.
    How is this one different?

    • +1

Both support aptX Low Latency which is a big plus. The main difference is the one that you linked has Optical (Toslink) + AUX 3.5mm port input and the one in this deal only has a AUX 3.5mm port input.

      • Doesn't support aptX Low Latency in receiver mode though, it's worth noting.

  • How do you get that the deal price?

For example TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitter TT-BA07, you said $27.99. It's 35.99 in Amazon AU.

In Amazon US, it's 29.99 but it won't ship to Australia.

    • Apply the coupon code from the table above at the checkout.

PS: Amazon US link is only provided for the reviews.

      • Thanks!

      • +1

Cant apply the coupon for the LED Lamp on the Select payment or Review Order pages.

Edit: I figured it out. thanks.

  • Any bluetooth earphones on special OP? Cheers.

    • -1

Yes, check out the last item in the table.

      • But those are wired earphones? I am looking to buy wireless ones.

        • Sorry my bad. Will post a deal on wireless earbuds soon and send you a PM.

  • Possible to do some discount on this:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Transmitter-R…

Want to have digital in/out for TV

  • +1

Got the Bluetooth adapter. Should be handy for flights, and my work pc which doesn't have bluetooth (and I hate using Windows built in bluetooth)

  • Interested in the TaoTronics LED Desk Lamp TT-DL13

Is it C-tick etc? What is the plug?

    • +1

Yes, C-tick approved… Has a proper insulated AU plug.

  • Any plan to sell DL19 and TT-DL037 in the future soon?

    • -1

Sorry those models are only available to Amazon US yet. The company is slowly introducing more models to Amazon AU now but there is currently no ETA known.

  • Do you sell the Taotronics TT-AD009 humidifier? How much with a deal?
If not, are you expecting to sell it anytime soon?

    • -1

Sorry that model is only available to Amazon US yet. The company is slowly introducing more models to Amazon AU but there is currently no ETA known.

BEWARE TaoTronics deceptive advertising. I bought the Bluetooth transmitter because they said you can simultaneously connect two devices to it…BUT only one of them will work at a time…i.e if you connect 2 speakers only one will give sound …you need to turn it off and turn on the other one to get sound out of the 2nd one (and then the first one doesn't work…I raised this with Taotronics and they didn't respond…very shonky company in my opinion and I will not ever use them again + will tell all my contacts of their deceptive advertising.

    • That doesn't seem right…. PM me your email address and I can get the customer service team to resolve this for you.

      • Have PM's you . The Taotronics advertising on Amazon says "MAKE IT TWO: Upgraded 2-in-1 Bluetooth V4.1 transmitter can be paired with two Bluetooth receivers (like headphones + speakers) simultaneously." BUT it only allows you to pair two devices not use them simultaneously…sound will only come from one device not both at the same time as claimed.

        • +1

That description only claims pairing with 2, not playing to 2.
I think you've just misread it.

        • Ok I have now spoken with the customer care and basically:

In TX mode: when you pair with two devices (e.g. headphones), both can play music at the same time.

In RX mode: it can only receive audio from one device (e.g. mobile phone) at a time.

The above functionality is standard across most (if not all) similar Bluetooth transmitters on the market that support Dual-mode.

You will also hear from the customer care separately along the similar lines. In case the item that you have received is not functioning as per the above you might have a faulty product.

Rest assured the Rep is committed to help resolve any quality issues with the products.

In future if there are any problems with their headphones or any other Taotronics branded products, feel free to email: [email protected] including the order ID, their customer team are there to help

        • @batrarobin:

The device is in transmit mode and will NOT play to two devices simultaneously…this is false advertising as it clearly says it will BUT the manual says it won't (pg 11 of manual, however this pg 11 disclaimer may just refer to it when in RX mode….mine is in TX mode but still won't play to 2 receivers)

        • @theguyrules:
No, the advertising (and the manual) says it will play to two devices at same time but the manual also says it won't (pg11)..see comment above, the pg11 manual may refer to not playing on 2 devices when in RX mode but mine is in TX mode and won't play to 2 receivers.

        • @Ben Kenobi:

What are you on.. on page 7 it says you can play to 2 receivers simultaneously. I just received mine today. Will test it out tonight.

        • @RtN: This unit may be faulty then as mine doesn't do it

        • @Ben Kenobi: I'm getting mine this arv. Will update you also.

        • @theguyrules: Many thanks. I'm thinking this unit is faulty in some way…I played around with it a bit and discovered that two receivers can pair to it but then I had to reboot the BA07 to get sound out of both speakers…if one gets turned off it will repair but not play until you reboot the BA07 again…if one speaker is off when the BA07 powers on it will repair but not play until the BA07 is rebooted…no mention of this in the manual so I'm guessing this is faulty somehow…be good to get confirmation from others if this is a fault in this unit as the advertising says speakers should repair automatically, no mention of having to reboot the BA07 transmitter each time a speaker gets powered off\on.

        • +1

          @theguyrules:

After you have completed your one-time pairing of both headphones with the transmitter, turn off the transmitter and next time when you want to use it, just make sure that your both headphones are turned ON before the transmitter device is switched ON and it will work fine.

PS: Not saying that this is the only way but
just pointing out the fact that this has worked for me everytime.

        • +1

@batrarobin: Be good if they said this in the manual. Also, if you turn a receiver off and back on while the BA07 is running you need to reboot it again to get sound to both receivers…both the manual and advertising needs to spell this out to avoid further issues …as I noted in my PM to you, my car reconnects to my bluetooth devices and just works , I don't need to restart my car every time. Anyhow, thankls for taking som eownership , shame the first Taotronics person dropped the ball…if they had explained this then there would have been less of an issue (although the advertising and manual are still somewhat deceptive IMO)

        • @Ben Kenobi: Well, it's nice when it connects. In transmit mode, after pairing it works fine, then once you turn it or the receiver off, I'm finding it impossible to get it to reconnect.

EDIT: OK not impossible, but harder than it should be.

        • @theguyrules: Thanks for checking …shows I'm not going too nuts. Seems to be the design..you have to reboot the BA07 if one of the receivers is power cycled or if they are off when the BA07 is powered on (the first receiver always seems to connect fine but the 2nd one needs to have the BA07 rebooted to work)…if the receivers are within 2m of the BA07 I find they reconnect OK but the rebooting requirement precluded me using it for it's intended purpose (a 93yo lady with dementia who would never remember to reboot it)

        • +1

@batrarobin: My thanks to both Alita and yourself for taking ownership of this issue and resolving it to my satisfaction. It goes to show two things:
          1) In an age of rip off merchants and con men there are still some companies that stand by their product and warranty…kudos to TaoTronics for being one of the good ones!
          2) The power of the ozbargain community to raise awareness and deliver some level of consumer clout that results in vendor reaction.

Now if the community could only shut down the shonky operators (see the posts on productreview.com.au on Game Dude for examples)!

        • +1

@Ben Kenobi: Hi mate, glad that you got it sorted. :)

  • +2

The lamp looks decent, just bought one.

  • What is the input cable for the powerbank? Type C?

Does it support powering devices while it is being charged?
