      OP got too relaxed.

      • +3

        OP relaxed too early.

        • His premature relaxation was a show stopper.

Organize LAN gaming parties with rapid installation and configuration for all-night gaming with friends

How does this perform with chat-roulette/chuterbate/etc ?

    • -2

How are the two even remotely related you just asked what the flavour of canada is when someone showed you a picture of a bird? lol wut

      • +1

Everyone has different games they play all-night long with their online friends.

Clearly this was lost on you. Have a nice day.

        • -1

Ah roleplay games.. sorry was just kinda trying to keep it PG or was in a PG mindset.

It is ok I got you fool.

          Sex.

        • Sex.

Meh - gotta think outside the box, you can do so much more fun things on these sites, than just sex.

        • @salmon123: I'm listening…

        • Pinky: Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?
Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world!

          @flaminglemon:

          Chatroulette Wrecking Ball…you're welcome.

@nmartin84: If that's what I think it is, the Call Me Maybe one was better.

    And enjoy your favourite movie

  • Does it support PPPoE and IPoE when connecting directly to a FttP NTD UNI-D port?

    • +1

      You lost me at support.

      • +1

I get it, because I have a Netgear x4s Nighthawk vdsl modem/router and they provide no support whatsoever.

    • +6

      It's a switch, not a router.

  • +4

Just relax and buy any old 8-Port gigabit switch because you're not gonna need QoS for that size of LAN party..

  • OP was abducted by aliens whose ships are disguised as network switches.
Wait, I have bright light coming out of my NBN rou…

    • … and theeeeen?

      • NO AND THEN!…

      • +1

Then SickDmith relaxes to receive a probe, 'cos that's what aliens do.

    115.00 here:

And you can still price match @ Officeworks

  • For game or video streaming, you're going to need a hell of a lot of concurrent streams to saturate a 1G port and make use of any QoS aren't you??

    • +1

This is its selling point. Whether it is true or BS I don't know.

      Latency on congested network

      Nighthawk Switch : 4.7μs
Standard Gigabit Switch : 451 μs

      • +1

Yeah no one is gonna notice those micro seconds or is that nano?

Unless you hosting the next world tournament for some game live streamed globally you ain't gonna need this just get some standard gigabit switch and be done with it.

Current standard hardware is more than enough for all users.

  • Meanwhile the non 'Gaming' GS108 can be had for $49
The plastic SOHO version, the GS208 for under $40
::edit:: Also the ProSafe range has a limited lifetime warranty.
This gaming switch is pretty vague on it's warranty.
