[South East QLD] $2 Cheeseburger + Small Fries - Requires Shop-a-Docket (or $0.80 McFry Burger) @ McDonald's

140

shopadocket have $2 docket for a cheese burger and small fries.

not available on their website but can be sourced from Woolworths supermarket receipts.

available for Brisbane, ipswich, Logan, Beaudesert area.

get this and a frozen drink for $3 for a complete "meal"

If you're a cheap arse or just want fries then you can request the burger with out a "meat" pattie

If you request this (can't use the touchscreens) from the counter ask for "no patty" -which they remove and removes $1.20 from the price. so you end up with a bun, cheese, pickles, sauce and small fries for 80cents.

small fries are ~$2.20 on their own.

80 cent snack - mcfries burger(™)

I've done this several times with previous deals with out any drama.

A note: I've been vegetarian for 20 years so I always request "no patty". Thus "saving" $1.20 for something I would not eat. Or not paying for something that I don't want. yes, I know the cheese has rennet in it. I didn't say I was good at being a vegetarian.

  • Hard to get these receipts nowadays
Doesnt come up in the roll as frequently id say.
Maybe you can buy a roll of receipt paper on the black market

    • Weird. I have like 10 of these stuffed in my wallet. Not that I intend on using them. I can cook a whole dinner for $2! Think chicken drumstick, mashed potato, frozen vegies (stirfry or steamed or roasted)

      • much like the Coles Minis, those dockets have value so dont chuck them out :)

  • Last time i checked, you can download the shopadocket you need onto your phone?

    • not this one i dont think

    • why don't you check with this shopadocket and tell us how it went.

  • +2

I know the cheese has rennet in it

FYI if you upgrade to Cheddar Cheese it has non animal rennet in it. I assume that is possible to do but not sure about the price difference:

"CHEESE: Cheese (Milk, Salt, Culture, Enzymes (Rennet, Lipase)),"

"CHEDDAR CHEESE:Milk, Salt, Starter Cultures, Non-Animal Rennet, Non-Animal Lipase."

The cheddar cheese is coon cheese slices, they use it some of the deluxe burgers looking at the menu.

    • thank you. great tip. will try later today.
